  1. Well, we here at XOM would like nothing more than those diesel prices to go back up. I'm sure you're close to retirement age so I don't see how low stock prices would benefit you? The more money we make the more money can be taxed back into the school system which is a greater benefit than the diesel costs. We've already done our part by building low-sulphur diesel units around the circuit to help farming cost. The last thing we need, even if it helps with school travel, is for diesel prices to continue to go/stay down. Sounds to me like some of the SETX schools might need to look into fundraisers if the UIL decides to split the classes.
  2. Yep, and after sucking so long Conally wasn't supposed to be a factor this year either. It's definitely going to be a task but they're basically playing a playoff game Friday night, maybe Robinson makes a couple of plays in a big time game that effects the outcome? I think Rouse will win also though, which is why I already predicted we play Cedar Park in the third round.
  3. Fine then, I got Barbers Hill.
  4. If Crosby sticks to their trend of inconsistency you never know? I don't think we've given up 100 rushing yards in a game so far this season so I should be able to make both, I've been surprised by several of our games this season though.
  5. I know we always bring kids up at the end of the season. I'm not sure about how they do it at other schools when they know the finality of the season, Crosby hasn't missed the playoffs in 12 years.
  6. Dayton, they're always in it.
  7. Yeah, I was going pie in the sky. I hadn't been sold on Conally and after Rouse put 60 on Georgetown I thought they would get PC. Now that PC beat Rouse I have little to no faith Georgetown can knock them off the last week of the season. The game is in GT though, maybe GT just had a bad night in Leander? Another Interesting thing is Brenham and Magnolia will most likely both be 7-0 in district play and playing for the district championship the last game of the season. Cedar Park would get the loser of that game in the first round.
  8. You say that because you're a WOS fan. People said the same thing about George Ranch. GR won the 5A-D1 state title game 56-0 last year, they were 41-3 over the last three seasons playing nothing but 6A's in non-district play and had only lost one of those games the last three years. Their first year in 6A when they have to play those teams every week they're 4-3 with losses by 14, 17 and 28. Their last two games in district play are against Pearland and 7-0 Alief Taylor. Completely different situation having to get up for one of those games any given night versus having to grind though them every given night which is why you rarely see the good teams schedule down.
  9. PAM would get Temple in the third round and if Cedar Park goes D1 they would play Manvel in the third round.
  10. With PAM's win over PNG they assured themselves a spot on the other side of the bracket going away from Manvel until the regional final.
  11. Yes, Crosby would have to lose their last three for Splendora to get in. Humble can also run the table and still get in.
  12. Crazy, Crosby Victory and Praise gives up less points in a 6 man game than Crosby High does in an 11 man game. Smh
  13. Probably won't be much of a contest in the last two for Dayton. I know the idea is to send the seniors out on a good note but I wonder with nothing else left in doubt if you pull some of the younger kids up for the last two and let them get some experience?
  14. Well, since 21-5A has turned into the Big 12 I suspect defense will be at a premium in this one too. I think BH's defensive staff is little better than NC's and they get the extra stop and win something like 45-42. If Crosby can put their game away in the first half I'm probably going to come down 59 and catch the second half of this one.
  15. It's a ways away but all fans of the 21-5A and 22-5A D2 playoff teams should be cheering for Hutto to beat Leander Rouse this weekend. If that happens Cedar Park will most likely go D1 with Manvel and Temple leaving the D2 bracket wide open in region 3. With College Station stud qb Ty Brock breaking his leg and Cedar Park going D1, not only do the bi-district winners have a chance to win a couple of games but they also have a chance to play for the region if things pan out.
  16. If Central loses this weekend Nederland and Livingston have the best shot at getting in. No matter what if Livingston beats Central and Ozen they're in. If Ned and Central both finish 4-4 in district play which is very likely Nederland would get in. Central isn't mathematically eliminated but realistically it's between Livingston and Nederland for the last spot.
  17. Cedar Park is on the verge of going D2 again with 1,949 this year too. I think the postseason split effects 6A more than 5A due to sheer numbers but last year for Crosby to have an enrollment of 1,668 and to be playing Ridge Point with 2,348 in the D2 playoffs is a tough situation. Crazy that Ridge Point will most likely go undefeated during the regular season and be a 6A-D1 rep one season after that. I think they should split the divisions in preseason and increase the deltas as the classifications rise but then what you would end up with is one out of whack division in 6A-D1 instead of four out of whack divisions which kind of make it more fair in general.
  18. You can now look for Westbrook to avoid Longview and possibly go three deep.
  19. As weird as it would be, if BH and Crosby both run the table they'll end up as co-district champs. I would consider Crosby the real DC like we did King though.
  20. Right now BH, NC and Porter are all in for sure. Crosby must still win one of the last three. Realistically all four of our teams are already set, D1 and D2 is also.
  21. I agree, I like y'all against either one. Probably would need 40 to beat PNG but if BH went out and executed I don't see any reason they could get it. Now you can feel like a Crosby fans do sometime. You have games left on you schedule that don't mean anything because you're locked into the playoffs yet you have to get through them healthy.
  22. Rather it's ironic or poetic, tonight was actually the night Dayton's 20+ year playoff streak ended mathematically. Was a combined playoff streak between Dayton and Crosby of 32 years I believe. As much trash as we talk I think Crosby fans can respect the fact we almost lost tonight. What you'll eventually understand as your team becomes the hunted is that this winning thing gets awful hard.
  23. As far as Crosby goes, if that's how we're going to play defense we're going to get our a$$ kicked. I don't know when but that's the second time this year we let a team run one effective play and put up 30+ points. Glad our kids fought through the injuries and "issues" though.
  24. Hell of a game Dayton, kids came in and made it look like it was supposed to. Glad I don't have ulcers or I might be in trouble tonight. I'm sure Bronco94 will count this as a moral victory and honestly I wouldn't blame him.
  25. Crosby either has 5 or 6 fifteen yard panalties right now. Making it interesting.
