  1. Yep. Good player and good person. She will help HF. Regarding Lumberton, our overall record will not be as good this year because Coach Sanders will not play a cupcake pre-district schedule. But I'm confident our girls and our district record will be better as a result.
  2. Explaining how Livingston beat Lumberton is like explaining how GCM beat Nederland 2 years in a row. I can't explain it.
  3. Vidor will win on a 2pt conversion. I'll say 43-42. I told someone during the Lumberton Memorial game that Vidor will beat this team. PAM doesn't have the beef on DLine to slow Vidor down.
  4. 3 key mistakes for the Raiders: Throwing INT in end zone before half on first down. Getting beat by Perkins deep for the long TD pass and being offsides on the recovered onside kick in the 4th Qtr down by one TD. With that being said, we had a couple of drives extended by silly penalties by Ned. But don't say Lumberton was only in the game because of 2 big plays. Ned had 2 TDs as a result of a big reception by Perkins and long run by Simmons for last Ned TD. I'm proud of how hard the Raiders have fought all year. Most importantly, they showed the younger groups the kind of work and commitment to the program that is necessary to keep the program headed in the right direction.
  5. Vidor is more than capable of beating PAM. PAM doesn't have a QB like RJ. PAM does not have the DLine to stop Vidor's run. Vidor gets 1 stop and they will win this game.
  6. Burch Hadnot from Kirbyville. He did a little something at UT but then sorta disappeared.
  7. Hindsight is always 20-20. If we get the 2pt, everyone is happy. When you don't get it, all the arm-chair qb parents question the decision. I always say, instead of questioning the call, go watch the film and see which players didn't execute the play correctly. If the players block who they are supposed to block, we win the game. You don't help prepare these kids for life when you don't teach kids to take ownership for their mistakes and shortcomings. We still love them and they are still great kids, bus let's not cripple them for life by teaching them to blame others when they fail. And oh by the way, if we don't lose the turnover battle, we win. Coaches don't fumble.
  8. I was thinking we were averaging about 5 per game. That sounds about right.
  9. That's the bad thing about fumblitis. Once you get that reputation, people come after the ball even harder which leads to more fumbles. If we want to win on Friday, we can't put the ball on the ground. Oh, and we can't start each series with 1st and 20/25.
  10. Did you just say that your QB is on par or better than Roschon? Are you talking about your starting QB? I can't believe you fixed your mouth to say those words! I know you don't believe that.
  11. Let's just focus on beating the jags. One game at a time.
  12. You can't always blame it on the coaches and play calling. Players have to make plays, avoid penalties and not turn the ball over.
  13. The goal should be No Fumbles, No Holding and No Chop Blocks. If we pull that off, the mighty jags are going down.
  14. That was a lot of speed on the field! Good Lord those titans can fly. Our boys played hard. If we can learn to hang on to the ball and cut out penalties on the O-Line, we can still finish with a good season. Need a big win against Central next week!
  15. Don't worry. Lumberton fumbles it right back to memorial for a scoop and score. 20-0
  16. Raiders need 1 or 2 takeaways in the 2nd half and protect the dang ball on offense. As the underdog, we have to win the turnover battle. I'm proud of how hard the boys are playing. Coaches had them ready to play.
  17. Braden Carter ended first half with an INT on a hail mary pass from Harrison. 14-0 halftime
  18. Raiders miss a field goal in the 1st quarter. After one, it's 0-0.
