If I were a betting man, I'd take Miami, Bama and Arkansas. Vegas is practically begging you to bet the other way in each of those games. And again, based up the lines in the Bama game and the arky-lsu games, cowherd is right. Vegas doesn't think the sec is that good this year.

Billy Clyde showed everyone that A&M could be a force in hoops. And playing in the sec should help more in basketball because it is extremely top heavy wish UK and Fla and a bunch on mediocre programs. Roper: I was somewhat of a hoopster. And ultimately, I'm still more of a "hoops guy." I very much enjoy football but basketball was my first love.

Very big game for Charlie Strong. Last chance to become bowl eligible b/c I don't see any scenario with them beating TCU. You might catch a WVU sleeping (so to speak) but I can't imagine many players on TCU's roster who won't always relish a chance to stick it to Texas. When you're trying to rebuild a program, playing in any bowl (mainly the extra month of practices) is a big deal. Or maybe more properly stated, not getting those practices is a huge disadvantage. If swoopes doesn't have a bad game, I like Texas in a close one.

At some point, Baylor needs to stop being Baylor. If they win out, they will likely get in IMO.

Question is how a program in the dumpster can attract such $uper recruit$. I'm no expert but I have been less than impressed with Kennedy. Jabs aside, my astute Aggie friend Roper hits the nail on the head. Coach em up and you have a final four type team. If it were me, I'd leverage this class into hiring a top notch coach. "Thanks for the recruits, Billy! Hold on while I call Shaka Smart and see if he's interested in your job."

As Colin cowherd correctly pointed out today, it tells you Vegas doesn't think the sec is that good this year. But I would agree no one could do a better set of rankings than Vegas.

Hmmm and A&M was 13-12 in conference play its last 3 years in the Big 12. Yep, that SEC must be a killer!
