Exactly what I suspected. Guy wants to coach the horns. Can't blame him for wanting 8 Millie a year to do so. Had a bad feeling the Tigers were going to cost us another 10 mil
-
FYI, if it's a bidding war, you lose LSU. Every time, every day. You guys can get the tip when the Aggies buy you dinner though...
-
The thing that makes me feel the best is that both Fat Ketch and teamfirst think it's done. Those guys are right less than a broken clock. Now to an actual LSU source
-
Absolutely correct. Remember when Mack did that with Swoopes? And that was before we found out he wasn't very good.
-
Supposedly he's been volunteering at the job. They've started looking a few weeks ago.
-
Part of the problem. He's done too and they are searching for a permanent AD as well.
-
So now we have a second "done deal!?" Pardon me if I wait and see something more concrete from someone who isn't 48 hours removed from completing "Hooked on Phonics."
-
Exactly. With the deepest pockets in CFB bidding against some really deep casino pockets.

Remember this guys? I do, it was 3 days ago. Nostradumbass over here.

That's what I'm thinking. One of two things, his agent is playing the Fisher giving the Tigers the Heisman to drive the price up and/or to get Texas to move. Or two, he's tired of waiting on Texas and has moved on. The second seems less likely due to that's the job he's always wanted but who knows what's happened behind the scenes. One thing we proven is we can be the worst in the country at handling coaching transitions.

Potential Texas Football Coaching Search

I have to wonder if his agent hasn't found a way to turn 30 million into 40 million...and to get Texas off the damn pot... -
smdh if we messed around and let those retards just to the east of us snag him while we are twiddling our thumbs...
-
Every part of that first sentence is terrible...
-
Yes. Starts next Thursday. Hope to see you there
-
Absolutely. The one year I think they could toe to toe with Big Sandy and they move them out of the district. I think those would have been some great games. I look for Evadale to dominate that district.

Yeah he's talking about the brother. Harbaugh will never leave Michigan for another job and Urban would be the next most untouchable. Chris Peterson at Washington after those two. Anyone else is theoretically in play although I don't think Saban would ever dance again. He was not happy with the way things went down 3 years ago and took a lot of spinning to come out unscathed thanks to ol Mack Brown... -
I got a feeling the Ags may pull this one out. LSU -6.5 looks like Vegas is begging people to bet on the Tigers. Gig Ags and go stumblin Sumlin!
-
I can recommend Chad Morris though. He might take the LSU job while he waits for the aggy one to open up. Will be a good audition for the aggy job so they can see if his style will work in the SEC.

Haha! Jimbo said no thanks. Lemme see, sunny Florida or Loseriana? I'll take Florida. Better lock up Big O while you can...

I got skill no-look! Been washing Nash's fleet for years... -
I haven't seen the other kid yet but Jamyus Jones is the best individual player I've seen in that district and I've seen all of Evadale's. That being said, Evadale is way deeper than SP and will be the favorite to win the district.

Yeah he was top 10ish in most before missing all the time with injuries. I didn't know he was ever #1. The kid that is, DeAndre Ayton, is a legit 7 footer (with a grown man build) who does it all. Read somewhere before last season that he would be the #1 pick in the draft that year if he could come out. -
Westlake (LA) Holiday Classic/Post updates here!
TxHoops replied to WOSgrad's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Yeah, he gets played out of position. As is not uncommon when you are 6-7 playing at a small school, he gets stuck with his back to the basket most of the time. He's actually a wing/swingman. That kid can jump out of the gym but he shoots the 3 ball at a high percentage and his midrange game is outstanding. -

Yes, Max Evans (#1) is a Vanderbilt signee and has gotten off to a monster start. He was probably the 2nd best player in the gym today behind Jarred Vanderbilt (who won't sign with Vanderbilt ironically). But I agree, they don't have near enough depth to compete with Silsbee. I don't know that they would beat Houston Christian for that matter.
