This game was about inches, if CF makes that play on the grand slam . Things could have went either way, LG just got hot at the right time. Pitching was huge for us in our playoff run, bat's came alive at the right time.

I think Tyler was fine. You got to remember seven of the eight runs where scored after where two out (I think). Silsbee made several mistakes that lead to seven of LaGrange eight runs. LaGrange did what good teams do and made Silsbee pay for those mistakes. And that is baseball..........

Our pitcher from La Grange (Supak) plays on the Heat team with them, said this last weekend they were both bring it upper 90's up to 102. Pretty impressive.

We had two freshman players come straight from Basketball and after one game they are now starting on varsity and will be big part of our success, Why you ask because both have been playing on high level summer teams. My advice to any young player is get your son on a summer team where every player is as good or better then your son and make him earn his playing time, that is what he will face in a quaility high school program. Age does not mean anything when it comes to playing time, that is where some parents just do not understand.

Congrats to him, our Lefty from last year is at Blinn. He will be starting the Saturday game against Wharton , he is doing well. My son will be at Blinn next year, football.

I thought that could be Trey at Georgetown, the kid was very talented already at 12 yrs. old. Has the Joswiak kid committed anywhere yet, comes from a great family.

My son played on a select team with Joswiak when they were young ones, there was another kid from Brenham and I think his name was Trey Hicks. Just wondering if he is still in Brenham, I know there is a kid on Georgetown's team named Trey Hicks . Maybe he moved to Georgetown, just curious.

Is the Beasley kid at catcher , also has he signed anywhere yet.
