Yes. Often they become over-hyped, back-up, NFL quarterbacks who get named the starter with 3 weeks to play in the season.

"Many people do well after this surgery. Recovery time can be slow. Many people can go back to sports or other intense activities in about 4 to 6 months. Athletes in very intense sports may not be able to return to their former level. People under age 40 with a recent cartilage injury often have the best results. People that are not overweight also have better results." [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]

Not good. Not good at all. Sounds like Sam Bowie. His body could not support his size and broke down. "@BleacherReport: After having undergone microfracture knee surgery on Monday, Jadeveon Clowney is expected to be sidelined 9 months, per @AdamSchefter"

With Beamer's health issues, would he not be a candidate at Tech when Beamer does leave?

I like those Alabama uniforms. Is that their "Iced Out" uni? -
You're 50% correct.

I do not claim to have graduated from UT. I do not pretend to have graduated from UT. I do not refer to UT as "we" our "my" or "our". Right now I do not even own an article of clothing with UT on it. However, I adamantly support the University of Texas. My wife and I are graduates of Southwest Texas State University. We have 3 children and of the two that are college eligible, none of them attend UT (I am counting on #3. He wants to go to film school and UT is the best choice in Texas). I support their universities, Tx State University, and the University of Texas. You can rest assured, without an inkling of a doubt, that even I know the aggies do not run shite in this state. Does that make "since" to you?

I do not recall UT (or any Big XII school) ever recruiting a player from Utah. Great school, but would not benefit the Big XII. They would be better suited in the PAC 10 or 12 or whatever they are. If things fall apart, I could see UT going to the PAC 12 as was rumored years ago. -

No way. I had to ride out those Bucky Richardson starts with the Oilers. That was enough. I have two favorite teams now, the Texans and whoever is playing the Browns. -

They don't need a conference championship game either. The committee woukd have found another reason if they would have played a championship game too. They did not want a small, regional school in their money grab. All men are created equal, some are just more equal than others. I see it on the evening news every night (including the sports segment). -
This one is a no brainer. Marcus Marriota in a landslide.

No one will be added to the Big XII. The conference will be just fine when UT and OU are back on top. Bottom line, the conference was down this year. It's not permanent. When you let the 2nd string play, this is what happens. Just need to put the starters back in. BYU, Cincy, UCF and EC add nothing to the conference. -
An aggie talking about being relevant is like a bald man talking about going to the barber. They remember what it was like, but it will never happen again.

Sucks for those schools that ain't UT.

Ha, ha, ha! You spelled suck wrong. It's s-u-c-k, not s-e-c. I understand the confusion.

Auburn favored by 33 over the lowly aggies. I like the Horns chances.

Bowl eligibility is not a badge of honor. Even that crap school from the 3rd Ward got a bowl invite. Then they fired their coach.
-
This is a classic "which came first" scenario. In this case all know it was not the chicken- they went to the Liberty Bowl.
-
To think Baylor and TCU wonder how they got screwed. Two small, Southern, private schools. The NCAA has a TV market that would not have been represented. So guess who got a "bump" in the end? I wonder how much Wisconsin got to take one for the team? C.R.E.A.M.

Hoyer should have rolled that football in a Zig-Zag and maybe Gordon would have caught it.
