As far as your comment about Memorial being easily the best team this side of Houston, you must of meant this side of the Trinity River. BH has all their starters and 8 of the top 10 back from last year. Looking forward to the Gulf Coast Classic this year (I think that is the only tournament PAM and BH are in together)

As for Hill don't include them because of their use of ringers. It has been Danleys motto since he was at Brownwood. Still wouldn't be shocked on the transfer being rules ineligible.

Memorial by 20. Even if Lumberton is better than last year which they should be memorial is easily the best team this side of Houston. Lumberton is the 2nd with Ozen a little down this year, though we will continue to be the district champions. Dayton and Central are going to be tough as well

I know you didn't vote but you did have a say and it's obvious why you picked who you did. And look you're right bit here's the facts my opinion has changed because of the last four years. Vidor did lose richmond and jacks but after seeing how much jacks made Worry better and more open it was obvious how VALUABLE she is. It also showed how much she helped Richmond the three years before. Jacks is no Jones or Washington but this year she was the most valuable. Take a player Beckett off Ozen we still win district. Take Jacks off Lumberton they would be fighting with LCM and Central. So yeah that is valuable. Worry excelled having a true point guard and Jacks has excelled having a second scorer but last I checked the point guard was the general on the floor

That should have been the Worry girl. She is more rounded as a player. Granted, the Jacks girl is an outstanding shooter, but the Worry is the real deal. Good luck to her. I believe she has a great basketball future.

Talked to one of the coaches there and they all pointed out that Jacks never lost to Lumberton and made 11 3s multiple times against them and then when they lose half their team they add her and Lumberton goes 28-6 and besides Ozen beats down every team. Heard they scored over 1000 points just in district. Worry played good but from what I saw Jacks made Lumberton a whole lot better. I do not think a single team pressed them because of her ball handling. It's going to be different next year not having a point guard in the district like her or Malena.

I honestly believe this is fair since Ozen received offense defense and coach plus the fact the other 3 starters were named first team.

Ozensfinest. We don't need to recruit legacy or any school. Hardin Jefferson's best 8th graders just always happen to transfer to Ozen entering high school.

Honestly not really surprising. Had trouble with a fourth place team Friday. This was the first real tough playoff game and we are young. The senior stepped up. Look forward to next year. District should be fun again

Onechance to answer your question morris would have faced 2-3 D1 players just in district. As for getting her district would still be tough if she was eligible. GCM brings back a stud that carries the team and a good jv team. lumberton loses Jacks and may start off slow but the rest will have another year in that system and should be rolling by district.

I was looking at the brackets last night and it's gonna be tough for the lady panthers to make it out of region 3, you got wheatley barbers hill georgetown etc. Wish the ladies well though.

After this round anybody has a chance in the region. It is loaded. Winner of the region will have survived gauntlet and in terms of competitiveness could be one of the toughest brackets in the country. Anyone on any given night can win.

Should be a good game. On paper Lumberton should run away with it but in the playoffs you never know. Case in point us last year the game was to close. No matter who your against you have to bring it.
