I am thinking OF wants 1 gamer, Silsbee would want 3 game series.. Orangefield doesnt have that 1 dominant pitcher. I bet they want a 3 game series..IMO..
Totally agree. Don't think they can beat Powell but may have a chance against the other two. IMO
I agree, they lit up Hartman earlier in the year
 2.
congratulations orangefield.  bye bye from the playoffs.
I don't know if you should write them off just yet.. The first game they lost 9-8 after giving up 7 in the first inning They're scrappy and can definitely compete I wonder if it'll be 1 or 3 games, should be a great one!
 3.
LMAO, once again thinking with ur heart, wake up! See you Friday.
Looks like you're in for a shocker  8)
 4. Think it was Crain that started.. Not positive though, as it was a while back
 5.
didn't Shepard play HJ and OF early in the year and our 21-3A guys handled them pretty well?  Does anybody have Shepards record?
Orangefield beat them 15-2 in 5 They didn't pitch their guys though, but they aren't the best hitting team
 6.
Bridge City has this!!!! And I don't think it will challenge them at all!!!!
I'm not saying they don't have it, but those two brothers for Shepherd can throw One game doesn't benefit BC, that's for sure Once again, I believe BC definitely has a chance, but a one game set definitely helps Shepherd
 7. I believe each of them will represent well I know BC has Shepherd and OF was Tarkington first round I believe they should both advance if they play like they can
 8. From what I hear he is committed to play at Texas A&M
 9. He might've just had a great game, as he looked un touchable I saw Guidry and Lemoine last year too, and him and Guidry were the 2 most impressive (I believe)
 10. Ryan Hendrix I believe Best high school pitcher l saw last year
 11.
Silsbee    50.  5-5-0 BC.          13.    4-2-2 B-2.  Uzzle 3 run hr
Uzzle is a stud
 12.
Buna will help the Bobcats cut down on travel cost this year by taking the third spot in the playoffs...I was gonna say something about sending them home with their tail between their legs but then realized Bobcats are not really blessed in the tail category (no tail just a nub )...lol...sorry! In all seriousness no disrespect to OF but Buna is on a roll and I don't see them slowing their roll...hard train to stop!
How'd that work for ya?  8)
 13.
I absolutely loved the OF coach coming over, while his fans were yelling and screaming, to tell HJ fans that " Blue says if ya'll don't get quiet they'll call the game!" We all agreed call the game and voiced that. They didn't even have the guts to do what they threatened to do. Then to reverse 2 calls because OF coaches were having a fit, was insane. 2 umpires who couldn't pour dirt out of a boot without the other one helping direct. I also loved it when the OF coach yelled at the ump and kicked dirt across home plate and was allowed to remain in the game, when Erickson was calm and collected and got ejected.  That is exactly why we should NEVER give up home field no matter what!!
Actually, the Orangefield coach was asked by the umpires (don't know why they couldn't do it) to tell the crowd to be quiet or they'd clear the stands, not call the game
 14. The umpires did have a few bad calls, but all of the ones overturned were overturned to the correct call, the ump in the field didn't seem to have a clue!
 15. It seemed like they hit the ball pretty hard off of Powell, maybe not hits I wasn't at the WOS game, I heard it was ugly but not that ugly  :o
 16. Smith sits mid to low 80s, and Orangefield scored 8 off Hartman in 2 all on hits and hit Powell very well They also knocked out Jeffcoat after 2
