  1. Devon McCain showing why he will go to school just about anywhere he wants by the end of it.
  2. Chaka Watson. He will be up to the task. For now enjoy this state championship this weekend. At WOS getting ready for next year starts Monday. #3peat
  3. 64-42 final. Nederland wins. Buna with only 2 points in 4th. Coming with 2 seconds left in the game.
  4. Nederland up 54-40 at end of 3rd. Kevin Howard owned that quarter. Punctuated with a baseline slam on two cougars. Good shooting by Nederland tonight.
  5. Shepherd won. I had to leave early because my little brother had to get stitches so I don't have a final.
  6. He was not cut. It was between him and 6'8 big man who were both sophomores and one was going to be chosen for the varsity team. They chose the size and Jordan average close to 40 on JV before being pulled up later in the season. I read this in a biography about him and it is one of the most misused stories when regarding Jordan.
  7. That would be my guess if I had to choose two teams from the field. Idk to much about what some of the out of area teams are bringing though.
  8. I'm curious to see how that Buna/Nederland game plays out. I expect Nederand to win but I'm hoping Buna competes hard. I'd think Nederland would be the favorite going into the tournament though.
  9. I'm sure the lower back injury he is playing with affects his shooting to some extent. I was not there Saturday to see though. Not everyone can shoot like Miguez at the line though
  10. Also WinWin I think one of the reason for Savion being so low, if being in the 60-70 range can be considered low. Is because he was "only" 6'3 as a freshman and didn't play for a circuit team to get his name out there as early as some of the top ranked kids did. If he continues to play this well he will be a top 35 recruit by the end of it.
  11. Willingly as well. I would say he is more geared towards setting up than being a dominant scorer. He will of course get his at whatever level he plays at but his ability to help others get there's is what sets him apart to me.
  12. There would be 4 other high major D1 prospects around him. Vanderbilt will not be a major scorer at the next level. He is going to be someone who sets others up and hits open shots.
  13. Hopefully that somewhere is UNC. I do think Vanderbilt is the better player though. His playmaking ability is second to none at the high school level. It's pretty much take your choice of what you want between the two.
  14. Dunked on a kid first possession of the game. He probably dropped a triple double.
