LC-M defeated a very game H-J squad 3-2 (25-19, 24-26, 25-14, 25-21, 15-2). That was the first time the Lady Bears had lost a set since August 23 when they lost a tournament game to Needville.
 
The win clinches an undefeated district title as well as Vicki Castino's 500th-career victory.
 
District 24-4A playoff teams

3) H-J (8-4)
4) Bridge City (5-7)
 
H-F gets the 2 spot by virtue of beating H-J in both district matches
