Somewhat so, they deserve it. The officiating has been beyond belief the last two games. You have to overcome but we couldn’t do it. So a lot of that blame falls on us. What is your prediction for next week L-Train, I’m interested to know?

We had clowns in zebra stripes for both of the last two games or you would have seen a different outcome. I agree with you that HH and Livingston are nothing special. You’re supposed to beat LCM convincingly like we did and we will do the same to Lumberton next week. Problem is we lost to Splendora at home, I still don’t understand that one other than a few key injuries. I really think y’all have a chance to beat them and I hope you do. Go Bears, make the playoffs!

You sound like a Vidor fan now, I’m not calling for the coaches head but I do think some changes need to be made after this disappointing season.

I agree when 4 out of 6 teams make it, if you had more teams in the district I could see seeding four.

If we lose we won’t make it either way but you could have a very deserving 2 win LCM and 3 win Lumberton in the playoffs. I was probably wrong about the Bears overall record though, I’m sure they missed some games, we only play 8 and Lumberton may have missed some too, or are they 2-7 right now? None of these teams deserve anything if we’re being honest.

Oh lord have mercy... if we can’t beat Lumberton then we deserve whatever you have coming. I thought your special thread I saw today for United was going to be directed our way.

Everybody makes the playoffs in this district, hell LCM could make it at 2-8.

They don’t have Vidor to worry about anymore, I could see it. 🤣🤣🤣

This is a cursed season it seems, the two plays that killed us the past 2 games have been punts on 4th down and 40 backed up deep in their own territory. Livingston ran a fake punt and scored to put the game away last week. Huffman punted a line drive off one of our guys backside who was running away from the ball this week. They recover and score on the drive after a personal foul and pass interference flag that should have never been called. Our special teams haven’t been special, sometimes it just isn’t your year.

It will be a battle of quarterbacks, both teams are carried by the QB from what I have seen. The HH kid is pretty good, has size, fast and can sling it. He’s about all they have though, Livingston should have the playmaker advantage. That and Huffman has no size on the line of scrimmage. Y’all have the fake punt and they have the line drive punt right at you. Two plays that killed us in back to back weeks were punts on 4th and 40, amazing...

Yea that and the defensive line played very well again but that won’t carry us to victory. The defense as a whole did great, they only gave up a couple of plays where the QB got loose down the sideline. #7 was all HH had, the refs and the punter did the rest of the damage. I don’t even want to see the stat sheet, we probably dominated another game on paper but lost on the scoreboard. Put some of those big boys on the offensive line every now and then. For crying out loud, it isn’t hard to see that they could help us win. Hell half the defense should be playing both ways.

I think you mean squash Lumberton, get in the playoffs and make something, anything happen. That’s the only way to quiet all the side talk, because it has been a disappointing season if we’re being honest but it ain’t over yet. Early on in district we were banged up, that cost us one game. Now we are healthy so there is no excuse, I think it’s more about learning to use the pieces you have. Play calling has been questionable, refs have been unbelievably questionable, personnel decisions have to be questioned. I’ve been the eternal optimist all year but we’re running out of time for that. Get something done on the field, results!

Vidor could get 3rd too but they have to count on LCM beating Splendora. Crazier things have happened right? Go Bears! Make the playoffs please. How in the world did we lose Splendora at home? Shame, shame.

They need a different personnel group for 3rd or 4th and long situations, the passing game has failed us too many times this year. Why do you need your blocking group in when you’re sending them out on routes? They need a different personnel group for short yardage situations, let the big dogs play and push people around. Why do you need your smaller linemen and little backs in when we only need a couple of yards? I’m fine with them using the base offensive personnel most of the time but try using special packages for key moments in the game. Get at least somewhat creative, we are too vanilla all the time. Yes that means some guys have to play both ways, big deal we need them on both sides of the ball. I feel like we say this every week, or is it just me? What are you saving them for? The kids want to be out on the field making plays and helping the team win. Oh I forgot they don’t know the plays or they don’t know the routes because you don’t work with or develop your most physical guys and best playmakers in practice. We’ve seen it all year long and it’s been a long season. Rant over.... Happy Senior night everyone.

They slipped back into using an offensive group and a defensive group. I saw very few players being utilized both ways again. I thought they had realized you need to mix those guys in on offense sometimes. I know we had no problem moving the ball tonight but you can’t tell me it wouldn’t be better if you kept some of your best personnel on the field more often. If we make the playoffs they better realize it and pull out all the stops. Play with some desperation or it’s one and done. I thought we would see it tonight but we did not. This team is not anywhere near good enough to have playmakers that can help you standing on the sidelines drinking water and cheerleading.

That was a game changer lol as odd as it sounds. Vidor had all the momentum with the defense swarming getting sacks and TFLs then a freakish punt on 4th and forever. Poof it’s all gone, momentum can be a fickle thing sometimes.

I stand corrected, didn’t realize Lumberton won tonight. Wow. So we are all tied at the bottom with 1 district win. HH vs Livingston for the DC next week and everybody else jockeying for 3rd and 4th. Vidor needs to win at Lumberton and have Splendora lose to LCM. Then we get the 3rd spot, I know the Pirates can beat the Raiders but idk about the Bears beating the Wildcats. It’s possible though, Splendora has fell off and is on a losing streak after beating Vidor I’m not sure what has happened to them. Splendora wins they get the 3 seed unless Lumberton wins they get the 3 seed unless LCM wins they get the 3 seed unless Vidor wins... lol so many possibilities but they Pirates screwed the pooch losing to Splendora when everyone else is beating them.

Vidor just has to win next week to get in but we are the four seed. Good luck beating the undefeated #1 team in the other district in the first playoff game. Likely one and done unless we play lights out, that is if we win next week. Shoot we are on the road, might run into another crew of clown show referees.

The kids say some talk and I’m sure some of ours do to. It’s just not very sportsman like in my opinion, to stand out there and wave goodbye to each other. If you can’t shake hands after the game then just send them into the locker room or pull them straight into your team huddle. I’m afraid you’re going to see a postgame brawl after one of these. I’m not saying anybody or an team is at fault here, I just wish someone would give some direction to clean that up.
