  1. Thank you for the nice words. It has been an absolute honor to get to become apart of the Woodville community for the last 12 years and to get to coach some of the best kids in the state. My family and I are excited about a new oppurtunity, but saddened at the same time to leave a town that honestly has become home to us. I spent alot of time praying over this decision and asking for guidance and I feel that God has opened this door for us and he wishes us to walk through it and trust him. Woodville will always hold a special place in my heart. I am leaving the program in great hands though as my assisant of 12 years Michelle Merchant will take over to lead the ladies this fall. She has more than paid her dues and is ready step up and lead.
  2. Great hire for Orangefield. Eric is a great coach and an even better man.

  7. So Kirbyville pulled out of the Big Sandy tournmanet on Wednesday afternoon because of injuries and not having enough kids to then only fill the open spot in the Evadale tournament. Hmm very interesting......
  8. Woodville (3-0) 39 PCA 27 We are still trying to figure out the offensive side of the ball, but the defense has been lights out in the first 3 games. Our big freshman post is gonna be a handful for teams. We will be challenged this weekend at the Splendora tournament.
  9. Woodville (2-0) 60 Liberty (0-1) 29 Home opener for us tonight and the girls got after it. Alexis Rigsby led us w 14, followed by Juliea Jackson 10, and Freshman post Jass Betts with 10. When Liberty gets a few more games under their belt they are gonna be pretty salty. Lots of speed and some decent lenght.
  10. Well I think I can start it off by naming off 2 of the most notable returners this year in the Sneed girl and Jackson both at HJ. That back court duo will be one of if not the best in the state in any classification.
  11. Woodville is hosting a 1 day round robin tournament on Sat Nov 13th. 3 game guarantee. I just decided to add it to the schedule so I still need 2 teams.
