GP is a better team period.
Hey Husker, were you at the game? Please indicate to me how GP is a better team? People coming on here disrespecting our school and our colors is unacceptable, and I will ALWAYS defend them. If trash is going to get talked, it can't go unimpeded.
I totally agree. It appears there are more "haters" out there against PNG than before. This was only 1 game, we came up short, we'll make the adjustments, and get ready for the next team. I too, will ALWAYS defend PNG, just like I would expect others to defend thier respective schools. It's all in "fun and games", but sometimes, the comments become a little to personal. Make predictions, discuss stats, etc, but leave the personal attacks of the schools, players, or other posters out of it. Just my opinion.

PN-G vs Crosby Predictions
NDNWarrior replied to Indianforever's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Yep they got stunned. I'm thinking some of the JV D backs may be working out with the varsity Secondary this week. The JV has some tall and very fast D backs. They kept up with PAM JV receivers in their game. Just a thought going thru my head. First game for the varsity, so some kinks to work out and some adjustments. That's pretty much how it will go with any team after their first game or two. You move folks around and discover which position is best suited for players. PNG should come out stomping mad and really show the rest of the state that they are for real !
I agree...good post. -
Don't forget about last year, we were having a few problem's in the secondary and a few changes were made and I believe Gizzy was one of the one's that got moved. I believe they put Denzlinger in his spot. Have faith in the coach's. They started playing some a lot of different guy's in the 2nd half, they will get the right combination together.
Good post. I totally agree. GP game was a good learning experience for PNG. Faircloth will make the adjustments needed in the secondary.

PNG vs. Odessa Permian 1975 State Championship Game
NDNWarrior replied to NDNWarrior's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
PN-G should NEVER forget the joy of that championship. They are not easy, so when you get one, cherish it FOREVER.... No jab at any other team in the area, but I will tell you, statewide conversations always include WO-S and PN-G when people find out you are from the Golden Triangle. Just a fact. Hey, WO-S was THE place to be in Texas, during the 80's. Coach Hooks mentioned the old gun-slinger the other night that may have slowed down a little but nobody wants to face him. Well, it's the case with PN-G and WO-S.... They are KNOWN around the state and respected.... Also, that picture is someting that the GOLDEN TRIANGLE should be proud of......
Thanks....Just wanted to share a GREAT moment from the past. Actually, my hats off to ALL these fine young men that go out there each and every Friday night, play their hearts out, for our entertainment. Best of luck to ALL the area teams. I pray God's mercy on each and every participant and fan as we begin the 2010 football season. God Bless! -
Hater is right. One comment: HONOR>>>>>PRIDE>>>>>TRADITION>>>>>>>>PORT NECHES-GROVES INDIANS!!!! "Enough Said!" -
From NDNBand69: "One of our fellow Indians from the Round Rock area sent me this image to pass along. This is a shot as the celebration begins in the 1975 State final game PNG vs Odessa Permian. The team lifts Coach Doug Ethridge on their shoulders as the Indian faithful celebrate. " [img][Hidden Content]]
