  1. To me that was one of KP's problem against us. They played two QB's. Neither got in a comfotable groove. They were also smaller on both lines than I remember them being in the past. I agree, 5-3 and you should get in. For us, we are likely going D1 unless we find a way to beat Crosby head to head and not lose to anyone else which would mean PAM first round most likely.
  2. I agree, but after watching KP last week, the game should not be close. Who knows though, they may change their offense and try and run the ball to eat up clock. Against us, they never did. We got a good lead early and they tried to get back in the game passing and were not effective.
  3. If you don't score at will against KP and hold them under 10 then you will not compete with New Caney. That is my opinion.
  4. Dayton is certainly the one that is surprising. They go on the road and beat Nederland, then come home and lose on homecoming. To me it was not just who they were playing. I would expect them to have at least been in a tight game. ( I was not there, just from reading the post) Not sure what this means about the competition they have played as it was one week apart. Or did Dayton really just have an off night. Splendora is going to have to win two of their next three for me to believe they are in contention for a spot this year. As of right now, I would have it as: 1. Crosby 2. New Caney 3. Barbers Hill 4. Humble/Dayton 5. Dayton/Humble 6. Porter 7. Splendora 8. Kingwood Park 9. Caney Creek
  5. I'm taking Woodville but only because they are at home. This should be a really close game.
  6. It only seats 12,000 it will stay at AT&T

  8. Coach at Splendora is in his second year.
  9. You mean you didn't stick with Cidor in the pic-ems? Heck that was why I did pick them .
  10. My bad, I read the 9:35 as 6:35.
  11. 99 yards in three seconds, that is fast!
  12. What's the weather looking like over there. Was thinking about going by storming like crazy at my house.
  13. Not to speak for 14.2 but for me I would not have picked Splendora. I just thought Dayton had more want to and would win on homecoming. However, I did tell Pride yesterday they would need to find a way to stop the Splendora running back. He is having a very good year so far.
  14. Tomball Memorial improved to 3-0 with a 42-14 win over Galena Park.
  15. I hear you and believe me I know nothing's a given.
  16. I know it's early and a lot can happen, but I believe New Caney has a chance to be playing Crosby in week 10 for the DC and to decide who gets the D1 top seed.
  17. Rough week. I have 9 losses so far.
  18. These stats will confuse you. CC same amount of yardage and more first downs. Not many penalties. Looks like the 5 turnovers did CC in.
  19. Kpark is not a playoff caliber team. We controlled both lines of scrimmage with relative ease. I believe our QB will be okay, we had a comfortable halftime lead and they did not need to take any chances. He was walking on the sideline with a slight limp.
  20. Our QB came out of the half without pads. Hope he is ok
  21. Not really, they threw a few late to keep it close
  22. NC with a shank punt. Hold them to a field goal. 34-3
