1.  Even the Ten Commandments?
2. jv_coach - Why are there so many Bibles? Why so many different "words of God"?
3. Thanks jv_coach. The only problem, and the reason I get tickled, is the only evidence given for the Bible being the word of God is the Bible itself. I also find it interesting and telling that you needed to qualify which particular Bible you were quoting.
4. Tee - Good questions for believers.
5. It always tickles me when Christians quote the Bible when trying to convince non-believers that the Bible is not just a book.

Ferguson

Which begs the question: What genius made the decision to announce the no-bill at 8 pm local time?  At least make these animals wake up early to destroy their own neighborhood.
7. Wouldn't the Democrats be shooting themselves in the foot somewhat by doing this?  I believe the Citizens United ruling lumped  unions in with corporations as far as this is concerned, which I don't think was the case prior.  Union PACs donate 89% of the time to Democrats while Business PACs 41%.  Individuals in unions contribute less than 1% of the total individual contributions and they donate to Democrats 97% of the time.  I'm not sure how much the Democrats can count on them to increase their personal contributions if the union PACs were prohibited from donating.  Seems like the hit may damage the Democrats more than the Republicans.
8. So, some unseen being just zapping it all into existence is more plausible to you?  Why, because you read it in a book?  Of course the book has been around for a long time, which may validate your last sentence.
9. bullets13 - My comments aren't meant to be critical of you personally nor teachers in general. As you say, your job is to ensure all your students learn. My criticism is of parents not properly preparing their kids for school and life in the culture in which they live and of a system that, IMO, accepts and enables that lack of preparation. I'd like to know more about the bilingual teachers and aides. Would this ability make an applicant for a position more desirable than one who, while not bilingual, is stronger in most other areas? Does the school district pay for teachers to learn Spanish if they don't teach a Spanish class?
10. bullets13 - You may have bolded the wrong part of my post. You addressed the last paragraph, not the first. Based on your reply, I still feel you are enabling parents to not make learning English a priority. You are still making accommodations for their children.
11. bullets13 - I understand your desire to educate these children as it is your job.  But, at some level, isn't what you're doing enabling the parents of these and future students to continue not making learning English themselves a priority?    What about pre-k teachers who don't speak Spanish?  Are they trained to do so?  If so, should tax payer dollars be spent to accommodate folks who, for some reason, refuse to adapt one of the most basic aspects of the country they chose to live in: the language?
12.
The junior colleges give the most full rides and where do you think most of the D1 Colleges recruit from?  Travel and select ball teams or junior colleges?  Maybe the all knowing will have the answer to that one!
I'm not the "all knowing", but the answer is select ball teams.
13. Swagger, confidence, arrogance, etc.  The only time these matters is when it becomes embarrassing.  There are way too many players that possess these "qualities" for no reason.  Work on your game and perform when it comes time.  If you don't, all of these mean absolutely nothing.  BTW, coaches don't get players scholarships; players do.
14. Even more impressive since the "volunteer coaches" from the area pretty much suck.  ;)
15. You beat me by a keystroke JT.  :)
16.
Once again I believe I have offended a few people on here because maybe, just maybe they are second guessing their coaching skills!!  This topic is now mute...I have tried to make a point and not sure why a select few cannot understand that "IN MY OPINION I BELIEVE THAT 60-75% (NOT ALL) COACHES IN THIS AREA ARE CLUELESS!!!  If you still dont understand, I dont know what else to tell ya!!!
What's offensive are comments on here like this:
Look here you keyboard badA$$...  I have the right to post my opinion about any coach or coaches I please!!!  And IF I tickled your feathers and you have a problem with that I can easily be reached!!!!!!! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU WANNA DO!!
You slam local coaches knowing, I'm pretty sure, that several current and former coaches read and contribute to this forum.  Then, when some call you out on your comments, you offer to fight?  Please.  Hopefully you won't take the advice of a couple of posters on this thread and coach yourself.  There is no place in youth sports for people who react this way when challenged. BTW, the word is moot, not mute.  Mute is ......  nevermind.
17.
Any smart HS coach.....
Now you've shrunk the pool drastically.  ;D

Hey 13, I think the Eclipse went to Chicago for a showcase event.
They always were a one of a kind org.
If only that were true!  ;D As far as Hit-Away goes, I'm not sure they are even part of the SK group.  Field 5 is owned?/leased? by a chuch and Hit-Away maintains it and has exclusive rights to use it.  When SK tournaments use field 5, it is with Hit-Away's permission.  At least that's how is was a few years ago.
19.

Should'nt hold stuff in so long Weed! It's bad for your health. I was wondering who was the National Champions that year?
If I remember correctly--Texas and those #$%$@  umpires.
Still undefeated!  Still untied!  ;D
20. I have a feeling that ASA will sanction teams that get a Gold berth and then don't go to OKC. I expect they will make that clear if they haven't already. I also look for ASA to make some changes to try to get these teams back.
21. A list of teams that have accepted invitations to the Premier tourney. IDK, fairly strong for not having any top teams. Sorcerer Gold Gold Coast Hurricanes Worth FirecrackersSo Cal Choppers Corona Angels Marty So Cal Athletics Valley Breeze Georgia Elite East Cobb Bullets Texas Storm Demarini So Cal Pumas Cal Cruisers St. Louis Chaos Tennessee Fury So Cal Explosion Tulsa Elite Georgia Fire TC Stars Victory USA American Pastime Wagner's Maryland Richmond Diamonds Kansas Peppers AZ Hot Shots Gatti Wichita Mustangs Beverly Bandits So Illinois Force Texas Impact Gold Virginia Shamrocks Texas Glory OC Batbusters Texas Eclipse New Jersey Intensity New Jersey Inferno New Jersey Breakers NW Bullets Houston Power So Cal Breakers Colorado Stars Texas Magic Tampa Mustangs Cal Lite California Raiders San Diego Renegades California Grapettes Combat Panthers
22. Unless I'm mistaken, ASA rules require a "skinned" infield. Also, ASA will want to have one of their local groups host. I can't think of any ASA qualifiers that were held at a private park.
23. Some of the "big boys" will be going to the Premier Tournament in Huntington Beach so will probably not be attending. Good thing? Bad thing? IDK
24. If it keeps ya'll quiet, I'm all for it. Pirates was very calm Sunday, unless #23 was at bat. ;D
