Seth Means pitched a great game for HJ.  An error in the 9th and a great hit by WOS was really all they had all night. 

He has had some really good performances in district this year.

This morining at 8 am in the Hardin Jefferson library senior Marc Garrison began meeting with several teams looking to sign him to play ball next year, Garrison a two year startin baserunning specialist has led the team in stolen bases, and most runs scored without getting a hit...he has been in contact with coach gilligan of lamar since the end of his sophomore year about a potential scholarship....but met this morning with Rice,Sam Houston,SFA,Blinn, and has a 12:30 meeting with Harvard...(johny harvard's baber college in south philly)...

it was said he cancelled his appointment with the University of Houston and when asked why he was quoted as saying "i heard the pitchers there are taught to throw like girls"....

Garrison however remains uncertain about his intent to play college baseball...he is currently taking offers and weighing his options at the moment.

we will be updating Garrison's status in the weeks yet to come and wish this young man the best of luck!

When asked how he felt about tonights game against WOS Garrison stated:

" You know Im feelin pretty good and the legs feel alright...Its been a bit of a rough ride this season but I think we are startin to work the kinks out of things as a team...we've had a tough time finishin games all year but I think tonight we are goin to turn things around...I mean Marc Garrison is only one man and can only run one base at a time, It takes the other 9 to actually play the game..."

...the interview was cut short so Garrison could make his 11 o'clock fungo golf t-time before his meeting with Harvard...

we'll see how the cookie crumbles tonight in West Orange!

The seniors WON only because of there dominating strategy

Marc Garrison and Drew Daigle  owned the paint , nothing could get by those two all night...

Stuart Flowers made it rain all night for the seniors..

Tyler Thomas was all over the place...even when he had the worst donkey he was still an animal

the seniors went into double OT against the Sophomores...and TYLER THOMAS made the game winner to put the seniors in the championship...

and when it came to the COACHES vs SENIORS we did get hosed...THEY were not playin by the rules and they only won 2-0 ....they got lucky....if it'd been a series seniors woulda stomped em ;D ;D ;D

did we really even need to make predictions for this one???

As much as I would like to see Silsbee score 100 points again I don't thinkg the coaches will allow it to happen again. I know there capable of it. Byars and Walters will be hitting those three's though and Robinson will be on them three's, inside shots and full court pressure defense. Stallworth is man-handling the board like he need to and will be putting those put back shot in for us. Silsbee will use this game as a practice and get there reserved players plenty of playing time and as far as this Harris kid. The one at Texas Southern was not aggressive but was a big kids in the paint and the one who played for Sam Houston I really don't know much about him but like AAW said he is 6'11 though

I hope the coaches dont let it happen!!!...HF gets mad about you complimentin there cheerleaders...i cant imagine the fit they'd throw from the tigers puttin 100 on em...    ;D

It obviously was bad enough that it caught the eye (or the ear) of the HF Admin and a cop.  You guys usually do a great job and you will need to show up in full strength Tuesday night at WOS and for sure Friday against Silsbee.  No harm done.

In all fairness...HF is a good group of guys,a few of the hecklers actually had dinner with them at a whataburger in mauriceville the other night and noone left injured or in bodybags...so it is possible for us to be friends haha...and I have to say HJ will win...but I must say HF is my second favorite team...

You know, when I played competitve sports there was always an opposing player who wanted to be friends with you before a game. Knowing that their whole strategy was to lull you into this false pretense that he was an average easy going nice guy, so you wouldn't play hard against a "friend."

When I stopped falling for that trick, my game elevated ten fold. In other words, take that crap back to HJ : :

first, i must congratulate h-j for their victory. they played aggressive defense causing turnover after turnover and o-f never could get theire game going. however, bobcat05 you don't need to comment or apologize for things you don't know anything about. i did not see any unsportsmanlike conduct by any o-f player or fan. i did see and o-f player get football tackled at half court by an hj player though and by the way no foul was called. but i am sure you hj guys didn't see that. as for the officiating, that was by far the best officiated game i have seen in an h-j gym. so i can honesly say h-j beat o-f. but i do find it odd the winning team's fans complaining about the officiating.

Oh I think I saw you at the game sir...you were the man with the dark black glasses and long white pole you used to navagate your way around....HAHA...btw that was a terrible officiating job those guys should all hang up the shiny shoes and whistles....and the only reason we had to lay one of your guys out at half court was because yall had tackled us about 5 times...oh and i dont see how anyone could rate #15 near any of our HJ players...he was not only unsportsman like he completly gave up on the game quit hustlin and everything...(i think his main problem was that the HECKLERS got to him)...bottomline HJ wrecked shop...ORANGEFIELD for the rest of the season should put a finger over there mouth and SHHHHHHHHHH about how good they are...!!! cuz when it comes to 21-3A  HJ RUNS THIS!!!!!!!!!!  ;D

Most predicted a HJ win and the Hawks did not have their best game and got beat.  It happens!!!!!  That is why they play the games!!!!  HJ will win some this year and they will lose some.  Bottom line is that a few times a year other teams will beat HJ and get to talk trash about beating HJ, but when the dust settles all of the haters and their teams will be sitting at home when teams like HJ and Silsbee are pursuing a state title!!!!

This thread is about the HECKLERS...and for our first game this year i thought we did alright...its hard coordinating that many underclassmen...I mean we showd up and did our job (need some work but we'll be alright), even had a nice tailgate party outside with music, we brought our BBQ pits and cooked some food, drinks, had washer boards,even had two fires to sit around in the parkin lot ( yeah ...FIRES IN THE PARKIN LOT), there was even a little 2-steppin goin on...so pretty much in the high school basketball support game the HECKLERS DOMINATED friday night...and showd why they are the best fans in the state... as for our beloved hawks we need to work on some things like REBOUNDING, FREETHROWS, and 3's...and then its smooth sailin right back to AUSTIN where we belong...........yeah so we pretty much rule life and once our lion gets here we'll be even more dominant  8)

It has been reported that The infamous HAWK HECKLERS have been practicing at thier secret underground gymnasium in Nome, Tx....they have spent numerous amounts of time and money into research and development of new materials...all of which have a bad outlook for teams who plan to play the hawks, For anyone in district 21-3a this I know is a devastating blow...The Hecklers plan to be louder,prouder,and have more of an impact on the game than ever before...also Rumor has it that Dylan Willis was attacked by a pack of wolverines on a moose hunt in Alberta on Saturday...but he is expectd to heckle upon his return to the states...Im just tellin ya what I heard...

Get back to Nome quick I heard a pack of BULLDOGS was roaming the area.  News flash- They came, They ate, and they left.....News Flash- Local Sour lake Vetenarian finds BULLDOG with feathers in it's mouth and it was a Hawk still trying to heckle. Get your money back from the R&D Project, a cure has been found on how to shut them up...........

Ha...now ya see your wrong because them bulldogs roamed sourlake...If they had wandered on in to Nome thatd been the last place they ever went see cause we have strict leash laws here in NOME and we dont take kindly to stray dogs...and we've got even a less tolerance of those dang redbirds because they are always runnin there mouth about somethin yet cant ever back up any of there noise...

The Heckler prestige is almost equal to the basketball teams.   I go to school 200 miles from H-J and there are people here who have heard of the hecklers.

This is preseason and it is all about getting ready for district.  HJ should win based on history but it is exactly this type of competition and that which they will get at the YMBL that will make Nederland's program improve.  Just like the other night at BH Coach E will put several different combinations out on the floor to assess.  Tough hardnosed competition is what they need.  I hope he continues to add teams like H-J to Ned's preseason.

Watch it real deal even though I have lived and breathed HJ for the last 16 years and my kids have Hawk blood running through there veins, I am still a Nederland graduate and proud of the fact. Actually graduated with Coach English and went to school there when Coach Sims was the girls coach there.

Will the scarecrow from 2 yrs ago be brought back?

I believe The scarecrow is dead...however it has been discussed that the HECKLERS have ordered a LION from Africa that will accompany them in the stands...he will be kept on a chain held by Mr. Nolte...but I've also heard that they may have Tupac or John Wayne be their mascot this year...they are in the process of working out a contract with the gentlemen...so i dunno we'll just have to see what happens and what they show up with...
