Not a knock against Stringer, but he won't be the starter tomorrow. If Hicks if feeling good, it could be a long afternoon for Jasper.

Good job to the Cards and to Meeks holding Jasper down. The Cards need to get the shakes out of the systems. The big "E" started rearing its ugly head again. Overall, I would say this sounded to be a much better played game then last night.......especially form a BC point of view. Look for Hicks to pick up tomorrow

Shellhammer..........Flys out to left field 1 OUT Hart.............gets a hit to left field Bronson........runner at first......Meeks makes a bad throwover to first, allowing runner to second...........strikes out....but gets first on a past ball??? Runners at first and third, still one OUT.

Dishon on first........2 OUTS Hicks.............Strikes out............3 OUTS So in the middle of the 7th, BC is up.........8-4 BC has 9 hits, Jasper has 3.

Top of the 7th inning! Warner................ works a walk Robertson.......... hits into a fielders choice....runner out at second. 1 OUT Dillion.............runner on first...........hits over pitchers head....throw to first where Dillion is safe.....Robertson takes third on the play, error on throw and Robertson scores! Dillion moves to second. Bolton............. flys out....but moves runner to third..................... 2 OUT Dishon.......... hits a grounder past third........scores a run.......BC up 8-4

At this point in the game, BC has 7 hits and Jasper has 2 hits. Parsons.......ground ball.....error on play allows runner to second. Pryer........... gets a hit down third base line...runners at first and third. Alexander.......flys out to left field, scoring Parsons from third. Other runner stays on first. 1 OUT Bradley.........ground ball for a fielders choice, moves runner to second 2 OUT Ellis.............ground ball out 3 OUTS After 6 complete......BC up 6-4

Bolton........works a walk Dishon........flys out to centerfield...................1 OUT Hicks.........runner of first........strikes out.........2 OUT Jackson........hits a drive to left field for a single. Runners on first and second for the Cards, 2 OUTS Stringer........gets a single to the out field.....scores Bolton from second. Willey.........runners at first and second.........hits to right field...good catch by Shellhammer. runners get a double steal.....now at second and third. So in the middle of the 6th, BC is up......... 6-3

Whew, I missed some on the game as well..... Anyway, BC got the bases loaded with no outs. Willey hits one down to third hard, which allowed Hicks to score from third.....the third basemen did step on the bag to record the first out. Warner strikes out for the second out. Robertson up to bat, with two runners on.....first and second. Works a walk. Dillion up to bat....bases loaded....strikes out. So going into the bottom of the 5th, BC is up 5-3

Jasper changes pitchers.......Parsons comes in to pitch(lefty). Ellis had pitched 66 pitches. He leaves the mound with 2 on base and no outs.

Looks like Falfurrias is out. Sinton beats them 2 straight games........6-5 and 3-2.

I would say Meeks for sure, but Jasper may come back with Stephenson again, would not be unheard of for them!!! Another pivotal play was when BC was up 6-1, Dillion was on 3rd, Robertson was on with 1 OUT. On a fly ball to left hit by Bolton, the BC coach sends Dillion home, mind you the fly ball was not too far behind 3rd base and the left fielder throws Dillion out at the plate. End of inning. If I had my druthers, I would have held him up and went with the odds with Dishon at the plate with two outs and two on. But, I just get to watch the game, not make the calls

Stephenson was the relief pitcher for Jasper.......looked to have a nasty slider that led to a lot of strikeouts. BTW, I think Raegan went 3, but not sure. Like watching two games for the first three innings the wheels fell off of Jaspers wagon......then the last four the wheels fell off BC wagons. The auto walk was pivotal, in that is when the most damage was done. I hope both teams got the "errors" out of them tonight.....and we have two well played ballgames coming up...... Also the crowd was huge!! Wonder what the attendance was??

You are correct.......Middleton was the pitcher last year that played for Lindale. I just confused them.

Wish I had been at the game:(......but this bout with sinutitus or whatever really was draggin me down. A team of horses won't be able to keep me from this next series, though!!

Plenty of room for ALL of the fans!! Only thing better would be a home/home series!! After thinking about the shape of the BC field.......I am glad its Lamar!!

Good Luck in the rest of your series. I did not stay to watch Fowler pitch against Falfurras(?) last year. Is he a hard thrower?? We like them!!

What a way to move into the Regional Championship game!!! Knocking out previously UNBEATEN and #1 ranked Carthage..........2 games to 0!!! Congrats to BC, Meeks you did a excellent job!!!

All I can say is my wish came true!! My two favorite teams to play for a spot in the state tournament!!! Of course, my Jasper friends know I will pull for the Bridge City Cardinals!!!
