Not familier with Humble field (s)........can you give some more precise information about the location?

KFDM reported tonight that they lost 8-4 to a Louisiana team and will play tomorrow at 8pm. Looks like if they win tomorrow, they will play the Louisiana team again for the championship....as it is a double elimination tounament. Good Luck, guys!!

I don't think it had anything to do with who he played or didn't play...........sure didn't have anything to do with the W/L record. I think it is about being a team player at a high school, being able to teach classes, maintain discipline and maybe even having a personality that does not rub all the other faculty members crazy. But for what ever reason it is what it is.........now to find a coach to fill the position. I hear that the first assistant will not be back coaching as well........at least at BC. That should be a relief to parents of upcoming kids. So in the end, we can guess and guess and maybe never know why the change was made. The big thing is to get a guy in that knows baseball, is good for the kids and is a quality person. I have heard rumor of a few who will apply, but until its announced, best not to feed the rumor mill. I still wonder if Buc3 is BB himself and not his brother!! He has a habit of sending PM's that are not in the least flattering to the professional player that he is or his brother.

Judging by the responses, a lot of people don't KNOW the person and are going by the W/L record. That is not the only reason to have/keep a coach. I don't know if he stays or goes, that decision is made by someone else that KNOWS both the person and the W/L record. But to jump on people from BC because of possible personnel change, you people........mods included need to grow up. If he is on the bricks, BC baseball will continue to thrive.....its the kids that determine its success and they come into the high school with a very good background in baseball thanks to the programs in place. I won't comment on this matter anymore, its not really fair to the person or the situation until it is resolved.

I have no idea what you are talking about. My only post concerning Coach Bryant besides this thread was the thread about Coach of the Year. I will check, but I don't think I made a comment about the field in that one. What you said in your other post, "you got red1 going back and deleting all the old accusations.. " is not true. I don't have the authority to delete other's post and I have not deleted any of mine. Your comment, "What i was trying to convey was that after the hurricane hit that he tried to save as much equipment as possible and when he asked for help he got none." is nice, but the equipment should have been secured before the hurricane. After the hurricane, people had to take care of thier own things.....if you remember school did not reconvene for about 3 weeks. All those school workers, were not even being allowed back in the City for a while after the hurricane. The field is still a eyesore.

Yep, and the Region 3 regional was really the State Championship games!! I am proud as heck of BC and the kids on the team. I am also proud to say I support Jasper when they are not playing BC!!!

Whoa tiger........I have not deleted any...read that not one post on this board. Funny, you say the field is bad "because coach bryant doesn't suck up to the administration.." when his mom was on the school board?? Whatever it takes, the field is a embarassment that needs to be taken care of. As for as the hurricane, all the equipment should have been put up anyway...it was September. Kind of like the batting cages. They use the old one, with parts they took off the new one, but don't bother replacing the parts on the new one. Please, in your next post use better sentence structure....reading your post is a nightmare. Regardless of opinion, I don't consider myself a enemy of Coach Bryant. He has his faults....we all do, just hope his faults improve.

BC talent will be there, I just hope they are not stymied by the "triangle" assistant coach. He has brunted a lot of players on the idea of baseball when the opposite should be his job. He doesn't even take the time to find out where the player's experience lies or work with any of them to improve thier skills.

I have always thought we (SE TX) were treated to the State Championship series when BC played Jasper!! My two most favorite 3A teams, btw! Anyway, I hope Jasper goes out and plays hard and with heart and beats L-E for the State Championship!! Go Dawgs!!

I like Coach Bryant. I don't like his interpersonal skills. I think he could do more "coaching", he has passed on opportunitys to improve a bunch of kids he has come in contact with. Do I want him to leave.......NOPE. The only thing worse would be to have a assistant coach take his place. Ever wonder why the previous assistant coach's are not, anymore? Can BC baseball get better? You bet!! Can Coach Bryant take them there? You bet he could, all he has to do is improve his interpersonal skills, coach more and motivate or change his assistants.

I think Jasper will take Abilene......just don't think they have as much competition up there...........go get em, Dogs!! Good advice from you, Jeff. Congrats on a great HS career.

Good game to watch....except for the errors. Good Luck to the Bulldogs at State........You should be well prepared. My opinion only, is that the coach changed his mind a little too late to stop Robertson from going home, but it happens. No sour grapes here.

Hmm, it seems that Celina saved thier "ACE" for the second game, they did pretty well with their #2 in game 1, just left too many runners on base. I predict that Celina will take game 2.........what happens in game 3 will be anybody's guess. LE, has a pretty good 1-2 punch with Middlebrooks and Fowler, and will be tough to face in game 1 at state. I don't think they will repeat as state champs. If they make it to the final's I predict they will lose in the second game.

Meeks carrys a good stick......don't know why he doesn't get a chance to use it. In the field, he has played all over.....mostly first and third...if I remember right.

Just a little discussion about who YOU think will make it to STATE. Sinton is in........beat Falfurrias...in two straight games. LE......is in............beat Celina......in two straight games. Jasper is in..........won 2 of 3 from Bridge City Abilene Wylie is in........ won 2 of 3 from Lubbock Cooper.

Anyway, we will find out the pitchers tomorrow!! As for as these two teams, they have different talent, but both are talented. Probably the closest matchup of two teams in the playoffs I have ever seen. All the talk about domination, is just talk......these two teams are so even! SE Texas will be well represented at STATE for sure......as long as those "E's" disappear!!

It doesn't matter who wins tomorrw, if they don't cut the errors out, it will be a brief stay in Austin......ya only get one shot ya know.
