What a prediction!!! I would not have thought this many runs being scored. The wind played havoc on the outfield, and BC pitching did not come through after Meeks was pulled. Schooling did a great job....looked to get stronger as the game went on. A good game and congrats to Silsbee. Now we have a district race!!

There is more to the BC team then Dishon. They can hit the ball up and down the line up. If Schooling has a good night, and Meeks is "on" this could get real interesting. I don't think Meeks will go a complete game. I look for Hicks to come in as well. As for as Buna is concerned, it will take care of itself AFTER Silsbee. I would look for some kids to pitch there that have not been in the spotlight lately. Probably more then two. If Silsbee wanted to try the "achilles hill" of BC, they would pitch a medium speed left hander, throwing a lot of junk......sliders and curve balls. That always seems to befuddle our hitters.

So the second round is coming up Friday at Bridge City. What are your predictions? What are your guesses for starting pitchers?

BS.....I saw a kid I know get two hits off of Cessac in that game. Those were not the only hits, either. What are you dating Cessac or somtin??

Just an update on the JV tournament at WO-S. BC beat WO-S in the first game. Jasper beat H-J in the second game BC beat Jasper in the championship game........7 innings......10-7. Way to go Big Red!

Do you have a problem with your keyboard....cut the caps. Makes it easier to read.....not understand...just read. Cessac was doing a good job....just two kids were getting hits off him at first. But he started to tire and the other JV kids started getting hits and the wheels fell off then. That game was looked at as a joke from the start, the only one with any worrys was the catcher as he was a freshman. End results is a loss for the freshman that day. No matter how you try to spin it. So just keep your facts straight and have a good day.

Not to get in the middle of your discussion, but the freshman team DID NOT beat the JV team last year...you had to stay to the end of the game....JV came back and won. Sorry.

Good to see Meeks get back on track. Anybody have any info on the JV game?

Yep, roger the cancellation..............guess I was wondering "what might have been". By my takes, it looks like Bridge City and Vidor came through with wins (if the info on the BC/Hudson game is correct), but I never heard about the group playing at Diboll.......ie Jasper. But even knowing who came out on top of that group, still would not know the "seeding" for the finals that were cancelled.

Any news on the seeding for the finals??
