Well the results from tonights games keep a lot of the predictions alive!! Jasper 10-2 BC 10-2 Silsbee 9-3 HJ.........9-3 or 8-4.......depends on the outcome!! Congrats to all the winners and to the losers, don't give up hope as its still a lot of baseball left!! Stay tuned for the results of the HJ-Orangefield game and the final week of the regular season!! It ought to be a humdinger!!

Any word on who's pitching?? Or maybe who started the game pitching? BTW, still don't know how you keep all the threads on this board going........heck of a job!!

I would have loved to hear those exchanges!!! Probably not as funny as hearing about it, though.

Best stats I have on this game....... Schooling struck out 10, but gave up 6 hits. Raegan struck out 5, but gave up 6 hits. Jasper had one error which led to a run in the first. Calhoun had a single, triple and a flyball out.........2 for 3. Congrats Jasper.

Silsbee has a runner at first...... Next batter hits a ground ball forcing the runner out at Second. Runner on first, ONE OUT. Next batter hits ground ball to third base, Jasper gets the force out on Second. Runner on first, TWO OUT> Another gound ball..............5-3 play........gets the THIRD OUT. Jasper wins..........Jasper wins............Jasper wins 5-3

Jasper at bat in the bottom of the 6th inning. First batter hits a flyball..........out #1. Second batter strikes out.......called..for out #2. Third batter strikes out.........out #3. So the score going into the 7th inning is still..........Jasper 5, Silsbee3 Silsbee will be starting at the top of thier batting order in the 7th.....can the Dogs hold them off???

Top of the 6th Inning Silsbee gets a runner to first on a walk. Next batter gets a hit, runners at first and second........NO OUTS. Next batter gets a bunt hit, bases loaded and still.......NO OUTS. Next batter hits into a double play, a run scores.....runner at 3rd.....TWO outs. Next batter hits a flyball out. New score in the middle of the 6th inning........Jasper 5........Silsbee 3

Top of the fifth, Silsbee gets a hit and strands the runner when the sides retired on a flyball. Jasper still with a 5-2 lead. Schooling strikes out the side for the SECOND inning, but Jasper still with the lead after 5 complete innings.

Silsbee goes 3 up and 3 down to start the 4th inning. Jasper preparing to bat with a 5-2 lead. Jasper goes 3 up and 3 down to finish the 4th inning.

Just heard on the Jasper radio station that the BC-Jasper game is now scheduled for a 8:00PM start due to the track meet.

Jasper at bat in the 3rd. First batter walks. Second batter sacrifice bunts runner to Second. One out, runner on Second. Runner to third on a infield hit, Raegan up to bat. Raegan gets a line drive hit, scores the runner from third....Jasper up 3-2 One out, runners on 1st and 2nd. Ground ball out to first moves runners to second and third.........2 out, now. Next batter gets a hit, which scores the runner from third.........2 out, Jasper up 4-2, runners on first and second. Next batter gets a hit, which scores another runner from third........2 out, Jasper up 5-2, runners on second and third. Flyball out ends the inning. Jasper leads 5-2 after 3 complete innings.

Top of the third. Silsbee gets a triple to lead off inning. Runner scores on a ....a 3rd strike that got away from the catcher. Swinging bunt gets a new runner to first. Flyball out for Second out. Flyball out for 3rd out. So after 2 and 1/2 innings, the score is tied up.........2-2

Pryer from Jasper scores on a base hit. Still one out, runner on first. Score Jasper 2, Silsbee 1 Runner is out, going to 2nd on steal attempt. 2 outs, now. last batter flys out.........end of inning.

First batter grounded out, then Parsons from Jasper, draws a walk, steals second base and is driven in on a hit by the next batter (Pryer?). Score is tied. 1-1 Pryer steals second base then takes third on a wild pitch by Schooling. Still one out!

Silsbee gets a hit and leaves 2 on base. So going to the bottom of the 2nd inning its still Silsbee 1 and Jasper 0.

Jasper goes 3 up and 3 down, two by K's. Top of the second coming up.

Flyball out to center ends the top of the first. Silsbee 1, Jasper preparing to bat. Schooling pitching for Silsbee. (no surprise, there!)

Next batter up strikes out. Next batter grounds out, Jasper was able to hold runner at third. Two outs, now.

Silsbee had runners at second and third, no outs......on a groundball error and a hit. Silsbee draws first blood after Raegan threw a wild pitch......other runner to third.

T. Raegan is the starting pictcher for Jasper.

Bolton is a good young man and a role model for a lot of kids.

It is possible!! Then they will decide the district rankings by a coin toss or something

I guess I should have added that all the teams involved should take the next two weeks......ONE game at a time. None of the teams can afford to look past thier next game. If they do, all predictions are off!!! I just wish I could be in two or three places at once, 'cause there are going to be some really good games coming up!!
