Keith Stone, you should try the Sundevils.  They must be desperate for kids because their coaches are calling kids that are already on teams.  Stay Classy.
No thanks. I would hate for my kid to get a scholarship one day, and then have the credit taken by them. The guy that runs that organization is known for showing up to other teams tryouts and trying to take players. Would not surprise me one bit if he was calling kids that are committed to other teams. We will be playing with a very reputable organization out of Houston, got the phone call yesterday. My boy is excited to play for the Banditos.
 2. My son has had lots of interest from several 14u teams. However, I would like to keep him in this age group.  IMO this is the team for him.  He could make this team better than it already is.  Pitches at 62mph, with a nasty split finger, and drop ball (with great control, he's been throwin them since he was 9).  He didn't hit any home runs this year, but he was focusing on hitting line drives in the gaps. I know he has power, cause he drops bombs when we go to the field and hit. He is sound defensively at 1st base.  He has been doing the Tom Emanski videos since he was 6, and they are really starting to pay off.  Great all around player, and from what I have seen, prob a top 5 player in the area for his age.
 3. Did you get my email?  I would like to set up a tryout if possible.
 4.
Keith, i dont know what Stone you just crawled out from under, but most coaches around here just want THEIR kid to shine....Winning is not important.  Allstars is nothing but Daddy's Ego for the Best of the Worst.
Nice!!  If that were the case, I wouldn't worry about then. Heck I wouldn't even want to play, if we weren't there to win.
 5. Leave coaching to the coaches, and they'll leave being a momma to the mommas. The first problem is, every momma thinks there kid is the greatest thing since sliced bread. It's all stars, coaches are gonna do what is best for the team to advance. In the words of the great Herm Edwards, "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME".
 6.

Whats more important>>winning at 10 or winning at 17???
If your kids sucks then Winning at 10 and getting that 1st trophy in LL trumps all including your kids arm. If your kid is going to the next level as in Div I / Pro baseball then winning at 17 isn't really that important.
Wow!
 7.
great things to come, congrats guys....hope to hear about you at the next level.keith stone says the same.love the guy.
Ok tough guy  :o
 9.
Ok kieth...let's be friends, lol...I have meant no disrespect to anyone with any comment...so for the record I think my son the lefty and coach franklins son the righty are special kids and have a bright future. If I have offended anyone due to my excitement than I apologize and if my support was taken as self promoting than please forgive me...was not intended to be taken that way! But I would appreciate it if you would not come across with derogatory statements about any player on this forum. If its a problem with me than address me...we can always go have a cup of coffee somewhere and talk about it in detail. Once again sorry if I offended you or anyone else. Oh and thanks for recognizing they do have ability.  GO KOUNTZE LIONS!
Derogatory statement?  Where?
 10. Not a hater of Kountze. Maybe a hater of people who self promote their kid all year long.  I do actually think Kountze is pretty good, and should make a run next year, or the year after, when the "lefty and righty" are seniors. I think it's a couple years early for people to say they are the best 1, 2 punch in the area.
 11. Kountze easily wins this. In fact, I think they win state.  I mean, they have the righty and the lefty, and it doesn't matter who you choose.  ;)
 12.
Normal starters are as follows: D. Faulk - P - Sr.- Bridge City (Marion Military Academy, AL) S. Finn - C - Jr. - Port Neches D. Swisher - 1B - Sr. - Beaumont H. Sims - 2B - So. - Beaumont J. Rice - 3B - Sr. - Nederland T. Brimberry - SS - Sr. - HJ C. Carr - OF - Sr. - Beaumont K. Walker - OF - Jr. - HJ T. Fobbs - OF - Jr. - Beaumont Most of these guys play multiple positions... Depending on who is pitching determines where these guys will play on any given day... But this is their #1 lineup.
I thought Blake McKillip played on this team also?
 13.
I would think Silsbee to go at this game more as a game to work on things needing to be worked on . Rather than a game to try and win. I would also think that LH could possibly be doing the same. I wouldnt look to much in who comes out the winner in this game. Rather look at what Silsbee gains from this game
Are you trying to make excuses already?
 14.

I say Deweyville is Screwing up by pitching Howell, They should save him for EC tuesday, who cares about Kountze. Deweyville can lose to Kountze all three times as long as they keep beating the teams they have already beat they will finish in the top two in the district.    JMO With franklin pitching for Kountze and howell for D-Ville it will be A 1-0 game that can go either way the guy that said the score would be 6-3 kountze must not have A clue NOBODY in this District can put up 6 on Howell LMAO
The person that made that statement one of the most well rounded knowledgeable baseball people around and has watched Deweyville and Kountze close...lmao! He was just making a friendly evaluation of the game..Howell is great but it does take a team and sometimes teams falter...anyway I hope Deweyville over looks Kountze...that's great for Kountze and really when it comes to our pitching...your choice left or right! Either way it will be a great game...I want Howell to pitch, he is a very talented young man and our batters can only get better by facing him!
Wich one of these studs did they get?
 15.
I'll put our Prospects red team up against any team in this area. For the first tournament of the year these boys played very well. We played better on Saturday then we did on Sunday but now that we have knocked the rust off I can't wait to see what these boys can achieve. The Gladiators are a very good team and very well coached and wish them good luck for the year. Maybe we will see each other in the near future.
Rust should be knocked off, would you still put them up against any team in this area?

You honestly post on every PNG thread. Doesn't matter if its Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis....etc. If you want to come to a Football game next year and sit on the PNG side please let me know, I have a couple extra tickets.
No its just so easy to get yall worked up that i can't help but mess with yall.  8) And i'll pass on the tickets. If i wanted to watch a subpar football team i'd go watch lumberton.  ;D
Yeah, you'd probably not fit in on the home side at the Reservation. You'd have to wear shoes and have your teeth in....hahaha
Best comment I've ever read on here.
 17. Anyone else find it strange that kountzemania doesn't post anymore since sport1971! started posting? Hmmmmmm
 18.

After three tied up 5-5 marshall now on mound for Kountze.
Guess Liberty isn't bad
Or Kountze ain't that good
 19. If you could choose one Freshman or Sophmore to start a team, who would you take and why?
 20. A lot of them have been competitive select programs like Gladiators ect...They should do well this year. But I can not help but to look at Kountze and those two young guys they have. A righty and a lefty, Franklin and Marshall could be best combination on on team in the next two years as they become Jr. And Sr. It should be fun to watch.
Which one is your boy?
I wish both...my kid is in the band! I just love sports.
Hmmm!  Are you sure your boy isn't a kicker on the football team?  Your posts sound a lot like his dad's post, and he doesn't post on here anymore?  Maybe a new screen name?  ;)

 22.
Both teams did pitch very well. But for kountze to have two sophomores throwing that well is incredible. Kountze hitting wasn't as good as I'd like to see though. Other than TB the bats were dead. Defensively I feel like catcher is our only weak spot. Im hoping they will work on that a little. But I think it will be a great year for Kountze baseball! Im feeling a possible district championship
That will make the catcher feel good when he reads this. Might even give him a confidence boost.  It's pretty tough to catch hard throwing pitchers, who are not known for pounding the strike zone.
 23.

It's not a joke. You can find his velocity on the perfect game site. Your loss bmtball09. Kid is the next ARod. I've already got him on the antler spray.
70-73 from 46' mound at 9 years old? I've been around youth baseball for 20 years and have never seen a kid that age throw that fast, ever. Shugart at BC about 4 years ago as a 12 year old was throwing 73-75 from 46' and that was one of if not the fastest I've seen a kid in this area throw. Can you post a video for us to see?
I threw harder than that when I was 12. I was hitting 78 at 12 years old. I used to have some videos of him on youtube, but I decided to take them down because too many college and professional scouts were contacting us.
