PNG Radio tried to get enough sponsors to broadcast the game but had less than a week to pull together enough sponsorship's. Most big sponsorship's that they normally get (refineries) have a process they have to go through in order to sponsor which takes longer than a week therefore they weren't able to get any of the refineries. 

Maverick and all the Quirante boys are definitely gifted! I really was impressed with Vidors entire team. PNG had a great match up and made a big statement going into next weeks game. Logan Lejune is a great kid and very mature. He has the ability to get along with just about everyone and will applaud great talent even when it's across the line from him. He's just as good of a kid off the field as he is on the field. Vidor will make a statement in playoffs and probably surprise lots of people in my opinion.

I think he would be good alongside someone that has knowledge of the game. They both struggle with formations and situational football. So my guess is that is why they decide to talk about whatever most of the game. Which for a football fan is not enjoyable when you want to get a picture of the game. In his defense when #22 is constantly making phenomenal plays he definitely deserves to be talked about. I think some of the people on this thread should try to call PNG games and see how easy its NOT. I have heard that they are given MANY rules as to what UIL/coaches will allow them to say and what they are not allowed to say. So when you're constantly having to be mindful of those many rules I dont think its as easy as "just calling the game." I also know they fought tooth and nail to get PNG Radio to the community because so many fans were upset when they couldn't make games especially sell out games like mid county madness. Lets praise these guys instead of talking about how annoying they are because they also do this for FREE because all three of them love the game and love Indian Nation. Lance, Francis, and Rachael do a great job. 

Morse will be the starter. Two starters from the offense last year have moved to defense with Walker being one of them. 

I dont think its been announced what they will do with Walker. He has been playing both QB and DB lately. So before any rumors get started I think you should be sure of the facts. He will be good at either position but I cant see them moving him strictly to DB when hes got the arm that he has. Guess we will see come game time. 

Anyone who knows Rachael Walker and the character she has would know she would never boost anyone's stats whether it were a family member or not. I spoke to her personally about the matter and she is sick that anyone would even assume she would give faulty information. She gives straight facts whether it be morse or walker's stats. She knows what she's doing and was probably the only one at the tournament who knew more about stats than any other person there. It may have been just a coincidence that Morse got hurt when she was asked to do them. She did the stats for PNG Radio this past season and produced great stats all around and no one questioned her then. So before this goes any further and anyone else falsely accuses her of boosting anyone's stats, make sure you know her and her character before you make these accusations. I enjoyed her on air this past year and look forward to hearing her again!

We have not hit against anyone unless it's Ozen or Central. The coach puts a kid batting 2nd who has 5 hits against Central and Ozen and 2 in the previous 19 games. Unexplainable! He also leads the team in errors and never comes off of the field. It's easy to hide that when your pitchers are dominating and the other team makes errors to give you the game. Parents keep books and the players know that certain players don't have to earn anything. That is a fact! I would hate to know that I would have to give money and stay up the coaches butts for my son to play. I'd be embarrassed! Just saying....

it blows my mind that you feel the need to bash 16,17, 18 year old kids. At the end of the day its a GAME and you're just a parent who sounds ignorant. Let these boys play & the coaches coach. Coaches will put players where they feel is best without your opinion even crossing their minds. Let these boys play without all the extra criticism. 

Wow! Walker at the Rez last night did an outstanding job! He shocked many last night with his abilities. I love how he acted like that was "HIS FIELD" lots of leadership in that kid that i can see. He also got himself out of some problem situations and he did so very well, he stayed calm did his job. For a freshman QB to look as comfortable and calm out there as Walker did, shows hes very mature! The future of PNG looks bright!

PNG...I feel as if they have way too much pitching for LCM, although LCM has always been strong in pitching they just can't beat the Indians offense or defense...It will be a close one for sure-PNG 9-6

Thank God PNG gets to keep coach cary! Everyone in the community loves him and thinks hes an awesome coach! They were all devastated when they heard he applied for this job! Blessing in disguise for coach cary!

The Walker kid from PNG moves up & down from JV to Varsity... although he doesn't play much on varsity he is getting taught some very important things from the varsity's short stop Daniel Sparrow.  Walker should be exciting to watch on the field the next 3 years. I know that he will be knowledgeable that's for sure! 

been overcast all day long! Not looking pretty but it looks like the rain might hold off for a while...who knows with this crazy SETX weather! I think if they started the game in Nederland at 5 they could have played

Game got moved to Livingston's field because that apparently was the only dry field they could find.

I dont think the first post on this thread is correct. PNG  should not be tied with anyone as they are the only team in the district with a undefeated record in district play...even before this game was played tonight.
