Monsignor Kelly Catholic HS Senior Shortstop Ford Proctor was named the Houston5ABaseball.com Hitter of the Week for the first week of the season.  In 4 tournament games, the Rice University-commit batted .642 with 4 doubles, 2 triples, and 1 home run.  He also scored 9 runs, while driving in 10.  Congratulations!

Hunter Doucet, Thomas Burbank, and Chris Falgout combine to give up one hit in a 5-0 shutout in the Bulldogs' first game of the season. Jake Dickerson had a 2-rbi double, and Joey Patrick and Falgout each hit doubles of their own. Kelly is scheduled to play Bridge City at home on Monday, but the weather doesn't look promising.
