1.
That was about the ugliest excuse for a quarter that I have seen all year. More missed layups by both teams than I could count.
yeah sounded pretty bad
 2. Yeah im on my phone and it pulls them up for me.. they also dropped coldspring down to #24 after their loss to Cleveland
 3. Aggie I went to the link that you posted last week and clicked on it and it was updated on todays date it lists HJ at #4 and Silsbee at #5 now
 4. Also I know this is off topic but does anyone know if silsbee and HJ both win out in district if they will play a game or flip a coin
 5.
Would anybody think that the Giants had a shot at the SB this season with a 9-7 record??  Or that they would beat the Patriots??
its all about who gets hot at the right time and the giants hit there hot streak at the perfect time
 6.
You better not forget about Navasota, Sealy, ColdSprings, Brookshire Royal, or Mexia. No one saw Silsbee losing to Sealy last year. Ricky Seals-Jones is a monster. If they match up with Silsbee again this year, I don't see the Tigers beating them. It's all about match ups folks. HJ matches up well with all those teams because they have speed and size.
I think Silsbee will beat Sealy if they play again this year
 7.

Even though "anything is possible" I believe that in this region at the 3-a level, Waco LaVega is the likely representative with HJ and Silsbee having the best chance to beat them out of it.
I agree.
just curious on the playoff scenario.. either way silsbee or HJ will have to face la Vega until Huntsville right

 11. Great game! Never heard of that many fouls called in a hs game but still a great game. Congrats hawks and if we both win out in district we will meet up again at a neutral site!!!

 13.
I had an opportunity to watch all three games at WOS gym last evening and I would like to congratulate the Mustang coaching staff for what they are doing/accomplishing with the basketball program.  Even though the final margin in the varsity game seemed large, the Mustangs were very much in the game for 2.5 quarters.  Foul trouble and exhaustion, in my opinion were the two main factors that prevented them from being in the game all the way to the end.  WOS has always had a number of athletes but has never put much emphasis on basketball.  In spite of that, the coach/staff has taken control and taught these kids what needs to be done and my guess/bet is that this ongoing process will do nothing but get better.  After watching the two underlevel games and observing the approach they are using at all levels, I believe the basketball future at WOS is very bright.
well stated.. its nice to give credit where its needed and I agree with you completely on this.
 14. Just wanted to congratulate the Hawks on a great win against a very tough team especially playing on the road. Great job and outstanding second half
 15.
LCM has 3 losses, to Central, Ozen and Nederland. On their home court they lost to Ozen by 1 and Nederland by 2. Central has to travel to LCM in the second half. That will be a tough game. LCM is improving. They may end up in that 3rd spot  ;)
I agree. Taking nederland into overtime and almost beating them was impressive. Its possible they could make a little playoff run.
 16. They just got blown out by a much better team and that's that I don't see any coaching decision having anything to do with the way the he ended.. Silsbee is just a much better team
 17. I heard Silsbee shot 75% from the line tonight.. that is exceptionally well
