Sounds like i missed a good "game" haha... silsbee and hj hate each other period, especially in soccer. i loved playin ltown and nederland even though i knew we would lose, except for the night we beat nederland .  but i always hated playing hj because of ignorant fans, on both sides, who thought they would come see people try to hurt each other than play soccer. i hate hj fans, just like im sure hj players hate silsbee fans, but i always made sure silsbee won. blame who and what you want but haters hate and winners win

talk is cheap on forums... my prediction is the first one who scores takes the game, momentum is going to be big in this game. something like 2-1, preferably silsbee

i just wanted to know about the school and coach... but how has the etbu team been we played them in the spring and the fall and beat them both times but they seemed like a pretty good program. im really just scouting around to see where i want to play next

wow that is good stuff.  i would have loved to play in houston but didnt have the money to drive there 3 times a week  that is probably what keeps most people from playing because i played with the spindletop select team for a while and that was still alot to pay especially since my parents really dont understand the game.  im only 19 and dont have the expierence as you old ppl do but like someone said if you teach a 12 year old the fundamentals and their parents dont get in the way you have them hooked for life...

i also play soccer in college.  good grades helps almost more than playing ability because if you do get a scholarship for playing the chances of it being a full ride is extremely small.  we have 5 guys from over seas (all amazing players) and only 1 is on full scholarship.  but the best thing to do is send tapes follow up with calls and meet the coach.  usually after high school season is over you can go practice with the team.  we had two guys from lindale come out the other day actually.

not hatin' on my old team, but i know i got frustrated playing in silsbee last year and i am pretty sure he probably did too.  so if i was one of the best tennis players in the state i would probably put silsbee soccer as second also...  but with his ability to not even get second team?

had beckham dropped him... no points.  had gullit droped him for new england coach - dropped points. and all my newengland players got cards

im still trying to pick up my jaw off the floor... i have played with deaver for 3 years and for him to not be on the 1st team is absurd...i dont see how ANYONE could not make an all-district team the plays for the texans? first team  :o :o

wow that would really suck... i agree with bullets though if they were around this long getting beat by pretty good 4a teams why not wait a year or two and play on a level that they could actually compete on?

schools is ok, not that big, only about 500 ppl.  but playing soccer is amazing... there is an insane difference in game speed and knowledge but its prob the funnest i have ever had playing.  everyone plays everyday and we have tuesday -thursday morning weight training.  you should still come check it out.

Am i the only one who smells MAN U winning the treble again!!!  after thrashing arsenal and a win tomorrow, its def getting pretty close
