  1. I thought so too, Dustoff! I'm thinking some SC posters may be impersonating GT! Oh,well! Who cares?! Just do your thing Dogs!!
  2. My understanding is that Rice and Reliant are booked for this weekend which are the only two large venues GT's coach was willing to use. He wants to play on turf from what I hear. Big or small, I am confident that Nederland fans (and surrounding supporters!) will make it a hostile environment! GO DOGS!!!!!
  3. As a Nederland backer and a district 20 4A supporter, I truly appreciate the support coming from everyone. I've talked with a few of our boys and they love seeing the stands full! They don't care where you're from! They know we are all pulling for them!! Please keep coming to the games no matter what school you are from!
  4. no, Nederland is terrible...no way they can hang with GT...still trying to figure out how they beat Dawson and Connally and Dayton and Vidor and Crosby and Goose Creek and anybody else they beat this year...Nederland really should be about 0-13 by now...GT 76, Nederland -3 This!!!
  5. NHS website has 3PM Saturday at the Berry center. I heard Nederland is the visitor and the place only seats 10,000!!!
  6. By DemDawgs' logic, schools with the larger enrollment should win over schools that have fewer? My question is why isn't Vidor complaining about how much larger SC is than they are. By my count somewhere around 600 give or take a few!
  7. I wander if SC has figured out that all 2nd round opponents are good?  Maybe if y'all weren't looking past this round you might still be playing! To all the SC fans who weren't obnoxious posters, great season and good luck next year.
  8. According to the NHS office, Nederland is the visitor for this game.
  9. I have to say that Lumberton now has the 2nd best stadium in 20-4A. Since the upgrades both the home and visitor side are nice and seat a respectable amount. The restrooms and concessions are excellent. Until Nederland does something with their facilities and PNG can make more room on the visitor side to walk, I think Lumberton edges them out!
  10. Yes, a huge let down: 35-21! We gave up a touchdown with 11 seconds left and our 2nd and 3rd string defense playing. Huge let down!!!
  11. I can't speak for other teams, but having watched Vidor play, they can't help but score! Every play they run is designed to score! It's a great offense! They are going to beat weaker teams badly simply due to their style of offense. They are a good team with a classy coaching staff.
  12. It doesn't matter that we won. We either didn't score enough or with enough style or often enough! If we would have scored 50 points, we would have been running up the score! Now since we didn't beat PNG by more, we don't deserve to be ranked! Whatever! Keep winning dogs! I don't care how we do it, let's just win!!!
  13. I have no problem being chastised for not participating in the show. What I (and the other MCM participants) don't appreciate is the condescending manor it was delivered! Tell me how dissapointed you are but leave out the vitriolic language. When it comes from a Vidor fan, I'm sure you can see how Nederland fans take it as sour grapes! I agree with another poster, leave robadanna at home if you want to criticize MCM!
  14. Let me get this straight: You think noone cares about the MCM rivalry because on a Tuesday night no Nederland or PNG fans show up to some show to talk smack about a game that's been going on for ever? And you think we don't get it! I don't think Rob is jealous, I think he just doesn't have a life!
  15. He kicked all the kick offs in the Vidor game. He isn't hurt either, just didn't hit a couple of them right.
  16. I'm going to go ahead and quote a famous coach here:"Playoffs? Don't talk about-playoffs?! You kidding me?! Playoffs!? I just hope we can win another game!" We'll worry about opponents when the time comes! Until then, we'll just keep winning!!!
  17. I will say this: 3 predictions that Nederland would lose big and 3 times we've proved them wrong!  Please keep prediciting our demise!
  18. Overall, both defensed dominated. WOS had a few big plays, but for most of the night, very little running and a few completed passes. Nederland had some success runnning, but seemed to have trouble holding onto the ball. Nederland's passing game was a bit anemic, but mainly due to receivers not holding onto to passes. Although the passes out wide really didn't go anywhere! Nederland didn't show much and neither did WOS. I think both coaches wanted to see how personnel fit into postitions.
