1. i'm still picking Central to take the fourth playoff spot. what do yall think after thier game against LR? also, i think we need to give a little attention to a big game going on in 18-4a(Brenham @ Montgomery). i know it's out of our area somewhat but maybe ya'll have some time to give thoughts and predictions on this game.

Knowing that they will lose their next two games, they decide to go ahead and prepare for New Caney.
this was really a hard game for me to pick. and yes, i was always gonna go with the home team. i think mont. is very good as well as brenham. i know you will be harder on the cubs than i because you know your team and what they are capable of. i give the edge to mont. in this game and i am predicting ot. but come playoffs, the cubs of past will be present and i think we will all be in for a surprise because we are simply just not talking about it this year.
If they play as well as they did last night, you are correct.
never leave brenham out of the equation.

Really, undefeated at the butch!! We pulled a rabbit out the hat tonight!! But my point is this, u can't argue about Nederlands success, bottom line they beat us... Move on, and let the cards fall... Ozen is a really really good team.. We got lucky that it didn't get out of hand in first half. And Robandana, dude u are already talking about seeing Nederland again 4 rounds deep in playoffs... One game at a time, any given Friday any team can be beat... By the way it was a great game, and a W!! That's all... 4 rounds deep lmao...
Sorry piratediehard, I will always talk about beating nederville. And, if inspires one kid of ours, so be it. I will never admit defeat even though the only thing I have now is verbage. I want nederland in the playoffs and I hope our kids believe that too. We didn't get lucky in that game, we overcame a lot of adversity, a lot of it self inflicted, to win that game. I don't believe in luck. Those kids came back with a lot of heart. I think they have the talent and the heart to go deep in the playoffs. And, I still believe we can beat nederville. Giving up ain't gonna happen. Besides, I love getting the puppies yapping!
And I still believe it's going to snow here. You make a statement about something that will come true because you say it EVERY year. Yeah it's going to happen eventually, so if you keep saying it, eventually you'll be right. In the mean time it makes you look obsessed. You lost, get over it. Nobody from Nederland got on here and gloated about how great we are after we beat you. This obsession is starting to get weird... This ladies and gentlemen, is proff that Vidorians still haven't let go of the Nederland obsession. You already lost to us once this year. I doubt that match up you hope for is going to happen this year, but I can tell you that the thought of that game hasn't even entered the mind of anyone from Nederland. We are done with Vidor, you were our focus for two weeks, we went and did what we needed to do, and now it's LCM's turn.
hey godogs, i think you misunderstood the post. what he is saying is, how great would it be for a NED/VIDOR rematch in the playoffs. Wouldn't that be great as far as showcasing one district to decide the region. And don't say it is not a thought in Neds mind, we were 1 game from it last year. i know it's early to talk playoffs, but just think about it.
 16.
No question he will stay at DE... He's been going both ways and has still been dominant. He was in the backfield all night.
he has a bright future in that position imo.
 17. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I UPDATED THE VIDOR / OZEN GAME, WENT HOME, LOGGED BACK ON AND IT'S 0735 THE NEXT DAY AND I'M STILL HERE. OVER 100 POSTS IN A NIGHT. ADDICTED? MY WIFE SAYS YES! ;D I SAY, OK HONEY ;D ;D ;D ;D
 18.
Looks like the DOGS and Pirates both came out flat in the first half of these games but both got COACHED up at half. Sloppy play still with turnovers but both team did what it took to win. I think it was the wake up call both needed after such a hard fought game last week. Next week Nederland will be closer to full strength hopefully with linemen coming back which will let DeShawn play one side of the ball. Marcus Barton looks to have concussion and PRAY he heals quickly and gets back soon.  I will say that I was a bit too vocal at the game last night and I am SORRY. I just know the talent level these boys can play at and they played nowhere near that tonight.GOOD JOB DOGS! The win is what counts. Just always stay focused on the task at hand.
what side will Washington play? i think he is a beast on D.

You still might get upset by Ozen, good luck rest of the year.
Yeah and we were going to be upset by Livingston  :oIn this district on any given Friday somebody can be upset..As far escaped the upset 312 total yards to 182yards did not even see a upset in the makeing..The O- line and Hopkins owned the second half ...Great game guys keep it up..And good luck the rest of the way lions
yards mean nothing. yall beat us and we had more. what matters is, if you capitalize on them. Ozen will be tough, but i really don't see Ned losing the game. The Ned D will stop the run and put enough pressure on the qb to force errors. i see some pics possible sixes for Ned. we had the op, just didn't catch the ball. Passes, the Ozen secondary reads run fast. you can burn them in the air. if they play you like they did us, then they are not respecting the pass. but don't let your gaurd down, they can score in one play. but, take about 5 plays from them last night, it would not have been close except for the mistakes we made.
The yardage was not this lopsided...And the way we played the clock against vidor got us the win IMO.
you are right about that. we did not control the clock and yall did. something we were not used to and it showed at the end. but your D was dominating. i'll give credit where credit is due. take away 2 plays from us and we had less than 200 yrds on O. youe D was outstanding and i don't care what anyone says about our starting fullback being out. no one was running up the middle that night. glad we got it together against Ozen.
