Agree with you ruth, They have got to throw some more.  To me that was the difference in the Ned. game.  When you throw some, it opens or sets up the run.  Hopefully the OC will learn this, but historical no.  I believe they have the personal to do it, years past maybe not.

Last year was tough on alot of schools,les not forget the Pevetos,Barbays,ect.

Year in and year out, there is about a half a dozen or so posters from the mid county area.  The only thing I can figure "he is still bitter from last years loss".  Heard the same crap last year from the same group.

I feel Vidor will win.  But these are the games that Vidor seems to have trouble with.  The ones you are supposed to win.  However, I think it will be closer than everone is predicting.  Vidor seems to play to the competion, good are bad.  But anyway, good luck to both teams.  Clean injury free Football Game.  Go Pirates

I think the wing-t is a good fit for Vidor, although I would like to see a few more pass plays, to loosen the defense up, example was last night BC stacked the box on third and 12, short pass to the wide open tight end, and bam 23 yards.  The other incomplete was there, maybe the wet field caused it to incomplete 'tripped'.  And by the way on Bolingers 33 yard scamper, the box was stacked, Bolinger just flat out ran BC.  And to answer your question how far will it get you in 20-4a.  I personally belive that since they started the wing-t, that Vidor has been more competative.  May not  equate to more wins, but competative.  No cellar dwellars since.  We learn to pass more we will win more.

Dry field, perfect conditions, would have made no difference in the outcome of that game.  BC was outplayed in all phases of the game.  Except it and move on.  Finally some one from BC makes a statment.  I was starting to think we played the bears, because they sure went into hibernation. Keep playing sissy ball spread, and we will play pop-warner wing-t.

Every year that the Mid-County Schools have a bad year.  The district is weak.  Look back at history, the weak district topic always come up when PNG and NED are having off years.  If they are not in the limelight its a weak district.  On another note, I watched the NED/Vidor game on FNE, and NED is not a bad team, seems like they are real close to being dangerous, they made mistakes that cost them the game, but it is all mistakes that can be fixed.  Good luck to all the weak teams in 20-4A. no more injuries
