I don't think HJ will get away with fielding errors like they did against Coldspring.  Give Sweeny 7 runs in one innings HJ looses.  From what I hear sweeny has pitching depth.  Not sure about HJ.

HJ has more than enough pitching depth. We didnt play our normal game against Coldsprings. This is the same team that is 5th in the state, the same team that ten run ruled jasper, and the same team that beat Bridge City. I dont think Sweeny realizes what is about to hit them. HJ in 2.

I heard today that HJ has never beat BC at baseball in the history of the school. HJ is ready for this one and they have great pitching...at least so far, but im gonna have to say (5-3 HJ)...and whatever the hecklers say were sorry if I could keep them on a leash I would.

Haha what has HJ been doing special to "prepare" for BC? After only beating Orangefield by one I'm more confident thean ever BC's gonan dominate HJ...The Hecklers can't bring this team down too many weapons for BC and this isn't basketball so I'm gonna take BC 8 HJ 2...and HJ isn't going to beat BC for at least another two years

No we do not have to be BC, although i think we will. Our remaining schedule is BC and OF. OF friday and BC Tuesday. If we win Friday we clinch that second spot.

Hicks pitched an excellent game. He is also a class act. He shook my hand before and after the game, and helped one of my teammates up after a run down.

This game could go either way. HJ and BC both have excellent pitching. Any team in the district excluding a select few could beat BC. District 21 3a is tough. This is going to be a very exciting game. I'll take HJ by 2. Winning pitcher  goes the distance. BC treasurer quit talkin ish. I'm tired of reading all of your post that just make me shake my head and laugh.

That was the funnest game i have ever played in. Statum is nasty and has the best breaking ball i have ever faced. I was very impressed by OF tonight.

Lumberton lost, so lets not make excuses. Good teams find ways to win no matter the caliber of ball they are playing that night, and that is exactly what HJ did.

I'm not convinced that HJ should be included on this list. I know they have a great coach and a good group of core players returning, but I don't see their pitching being as strong as the top two. Could I be wrong, yes. Could they upset people, yes, but I'm just not ready to include them with Jasper and BC yet.

if i remember correctly sir hj did beat jasper, the state champs, at your field. so i think its safe to say that hj can be included with jasper and bc.

Kelly Burns for WB will forever change the way we mere mortals think of softball. She is 6 foot 5 and throws almost 70 mph. She'll will be a junior and is basically has a full ride wherever she wants to go. This girl is the real deal and yes you can quote me on that.

i played college baseball in the outfield for 4 years at a nationally ranked NAIA school.  our centerfielder and right fielder were 2 of the slower guys on the team.  but they got great jumps and could catch anything.  speed is definetely a plus but john kruk played the outfield so did pete incavalia.  even some of the best centerfielders today arent that fast, ie jim edmonds, aaron rowand...etc.  so it doesnt matter all that much but is always a plus.  but you can run like the wind and take bad angles and not get good jumps and be terrible out there.

Travis Moore and Randall Courville will dominate the Hamshire-Fannett football world. That Reciever/QB connection will be UNSTOPPABLE in district 21 3A. Look for HF to win state or at least go 3 to 4 rounds deep in the playoffs.

im not at all worried about hf. yea they have their whole team coming back next year but how many of them hit over 350 last year besides courville? All HF will do is throw a monkey wrench in the district race next year.
