1. Whether this game is close or a blowout is if Twine is playing. If he's playing, then I'm gonna say Deweyville by 3 touchdowns. If he's not playing, it's goin to be a score similar to Hemphill's game last week against Groveton.
2. I would like to see 2A in the mix. But I'll most likely do it regardless.
3.
Well I was wondering.  I was expecting a Corrigan victory and I thought they were terrible.  Looks like New Waverly wins the District, but they really aren't that good either.
??? If New Waverly beats Deweyville, then I'll say they are district champs. But right now it's still a toss up.

5. I can relate to this kid. I lost a parent 7 years ago, and scoring my first defensive touchdown meant the world to me.
6. It seems like we stop wantin to score at about 48 points, so that's what I'm predictin our score will be.
7. I know that they beat Corrigan-Camden by quite a few touchdowns, when Deweyville lost by 3 points to Corrigan. I've seen Center on film while studyin Corrigan and they're really good. They like to dance on kickoff too. I thought it was funny lol
8. They didn't even let that happen with Sabine Pass.  ;)
9. We had 120 more yards on offense than CC did and Coach Armstrong came to our locker room and told us that if we had one less turnover than we would have won. If we had none, we woulda won by 3 touchdowns. Coach Armstrong was extremely impressed with our team and how we progressed over a year.
10. What kinda predictions do y'all got? Deweyville - 42 Anderson-Shiro - 7
11. I believe it was just dislocated. But out trainer said it wasn't broke so that's a good thing.
12. Deweyville JV - 30 Vidor Freshman "B" Team - 0
13. Hopefully Deweyville doesn't miss the 1A cutoff by 1 person again and maybe we can get into a district with SA. Deweyville and SA have had good games the last couple years and it would be nice to continue that.
14. So now Deweyville has to win every game to make it to the playoffs. And if we do, then we have to play a tiebreaker with Hemphill. Unless they lose a game. Am I right?

17. Coach told us today that Corrigan had to cancel their JV game. That leaves Deweyville's JV with only two district games lol
18. Does anyone have an idea on how good Corrigan is this year? I don't want to make a prediction until I get an understanding of how good they are.
19. I thought I did good at @ 84%, but then I looked at these results lol  :-\

They usually get better every game and end up in the playoffs every year! Containment is always the issue when you play them. I haven't seen them this year but they always have a back or two with good speed. This should be a good game and should be for one of the top spots in this district. Before we played D-ville this year I was really not looking forward to the match up. There was alot of dirty play last year that got in the way of how yall performed. This year however, there was no comparison in the team attitude and mentality! I wish you guys the best of luck going into district! Buckle up, keep your heads up, this one will definitely be a test!
Good post Jesse, you are right this team is no comparison to last year all the same players but A new coach teaching the right way to play the game. Good luck to yall up there In SA We will be pulling for yall this year.   GO PIRATES     #10 IS THE MAN
A new coach and the Jr class.
I think is the same kids, just new coach. A parent tell me, the this group of kids of "jr and sr class" are the same the won flag, junior and sr championships years back..but please correct me if i'm wrong..
That was what I was getting at. The Jr class has won all their games with a variety of different coaches. They will win regardless of who the coach is, they are talented and winners. They will make the coaches look good.
Even in middle school, we (the junior class) only lost 1 game in 2 years. Freshman year, we only lost to CC and New Waverly. New Waverly being our first ever district loss playin for the school.
21. I think Deweyville will pull out the win. West Hardin is a good team for their size, and they played better than I thought they would tonight. I hope it's the same for tomorrow night cause Deweyville needs to have a good game before district starts.
22. Deweyville JV - 35 West Hardin JV - 0 Final. Both teams got together after the game and prayed. I love that.
23. Deweyville - However many they want. West Hardin - However many Deweyville wants.  ;D ;D But in all reality: Deweyville: 48 West Hardin: 7
