Diboll switched to a zone halfway through the second and that gave OF lots of issues. OF needs to pick it up on the defensive side as well. Gave up way too many easy drives to the rim which is a big part of the 7 or 8 fouls called against them that quarter. Diboll probably shooting 80+ percent from the line as well

Agreed, not to mention Dischler who was similar (great athlete, not a basketball player). I think that’s all this team is really missing this year, which is one of the many reasons I wish Gonzales had played this year.

I think this group is the better basketball team overall and is deeper. I do think that group was a little more athletic. Gave Hitchcock all they wanted in the third round that year

This was a tough game to watch if you like offense

They should along with Westwood

Think they are the highest ranked team. Which doesn’t mean a lot once you get into playoffs I realize, but I think on paper they would be the favorites

I believe the region overall is down too, so that definitely helps OF’s chances for a deep run

Good game. Warren had multiple chances to put this away just couldn’t get the job done.

Where does this put district standings? Seems like Jasper should be in the hunt for playoffs
