1. Coldspring 54-0. Clock will run in 3rd quarter, unless we have the same ref's in Huffman then 30-0 with no clock running.

That is the problem you seem to have the spread, although coldspring's d was also a big contributor. Huffman's d played great I will have to check the stats but I believe both Gilbert and Monroe had under 100 yards and Gilbert had negative yards till the 2nd quarter. Not quite the game I predicted, but hardly the blowout others predicted. Anyway good luck to coldspring moving forward. Bring on silsbee 8).
I seen the stats from coaches which they keep up with every game. He might of had 30 yrds in the 3rd but he did rush a lot more in the 4th I believe gilbert had just over 120 yrds..... ;D ;D Scott for cs had more passing yrds then townly with 20 less attempts....what did coldspring throw the ball!!!!!!  ;)
Well it depends in were u got the stats cause if you got them from the chronicle they are wrong(they have someone named reymondo as our QB) all I know is the coldspring broadcast said Gilbert had 38 yards in the 3rd quarter.
4. Huffman had their A game, we needed a good game. There defense was faster than coldspring thought and we was screaming will someone please block #17. Not the blowout I thought but I never seen so many penalties. Coldspring changed their offense and had several bad play selections in first half. They finally went back to the basics in the second half and was able to finish. Huffman is going to have a good play-off run. Good Luck.
5. I'm running, going to bed early, I'm so focus the wife can't talk to me no more this week, and I've beat my dogs and kids with a Huffman Jersey so much both are ready to attack and bite. Lets just say I'm ready and focused.
6. Shepherd wins by two touchdowns. I always pull for Shepherd when we are not playing them. Shepherd 28-14.
7. Like I said before, how soon people forget. We didn't whine or talk about "having class" when Huffman beat our JV baseball boys by 20 a few years ago, or when our Varsity Softball had 10 ran on them in the first two innings by Splendora, years ago. Now is our time in the light and yes we are enjoying it. So stop whinning about " having class" , and in a couple of Friday's take your medicine just like the rest of them. I'm glad you beat Silsbee last year and hope you do it this year (I'll be rooting for you), but don't ask us to stop enjoying our time in the spot light. Be like Tarkington take your beating with dignity and don't look for sympathy or forgiveness for years past, because we are going to rub it in. Trojans 40-7 third and 60-7 after our second string gets in.
8. I have my facts right. 14-6 shepherd at half and 21-14 4th quarter huffman. Sure sounds like trouble to me, but then again ya are drinking out of Lake Houston (porter's sewer), lol. If i'm wrong i'll take my medicine, and fully support Huffman the rest of the year. Thanks for your motivational conversations. They are fired up now. P.S. can we use your stadium for the play-off's it sure is nice. :) :) :)
9. Do you realize both of you (Huffman) and Cleveland had trouble with Shepherd and they have not won a game. So both of you are equal in talent, one game is enough for me to see. Yes Orangefield, Crockett, and Madisonville will beat Huffman, it is a good thing you didn't play them. Cleveland has something to prove next week and I will be there to watch the first serving of crow be choked down.
10. If you get beat by double digits i expect, praises and support through out the websites from falcon fans from here on out. Not run and hide like some indian fans. If you win by one score to cleveland ya are in troubbbbleeeee.... Last year your defense was better from what I seen on film, the good linebacker graduated.
11. What Some of you dreamers from Huffman don't know is Coldspring had second string and third string in on the 3rd and 4th quarter of every game including Crockett and Madisonville, except Cleveland. Those extra yards came in the second half against back-up players. Tarkington scored on our JV players. By the way some JV will be moved up to play Huffman also, unless Barbay changes his mind and makes a statement with first team on Huffman (I don't think he will). This is why the stats don't match what we are saying. That is why Cleveland is going to beat you ,you are living on stats not reality. Like I said, Coldspring makes another 60 points unless Barbay starts running the clock out with Power O after 40 points. That is the only way we don't score 60. ;D
12. Thanks, thats the spirit. Crockett's Coach threw his clipboard down because he thought the same thing. We need a nail bighter to mature the young ones going into the playoff's. I love teams that want to keep us under 60.  Last year we was in State, this year we are winning state. Very motivated and focused from coaches to players. If I see something in cleveland's game from ya'll I'll change my post and give respect, maybe lower gap of win. Huffman needs to worry about Cleveland, #24 is good on Defense.
13. Its good to have hope and wishes for your team but lets don't give false hope. We treated Orangefield the same as the rest I think 53-0 (running clock in fourth quater) and they are giving close games in their district, even beating Jasper. And Huffman is no Orangefield this year. Looks like we will make another believer out of another dreamer in two weeks. I don't won't any excuses when we play like it was to dry, we are young, we were hurt, the ref's cheated us, or i heard a dog barking and it destracted us. Don't get your feelings hurt when Cleveland beats you. No excuses. The goal should be keep Coldspring under 60 points.
14. If their goal was to keep Coldspring under 67 points, then it was a good game for them. The early first quarter penalities kept the score under 50 at the half. It is always the same players that get the same penalities but that is just them. They make up for them with plays later in the game. If the clock didn't run continuously after 5 mins in the 3rd quarter the score would have been in the eighties. Yes we ran the clock even during 5-6 mins. on ejecting players and penalities, and even after we scored the rst of the night. Cleveland is not the best defense Crockett was (a player told me), but they will beat Liberty and might beat Huffman if they can get their attitudes in check and stop stupid penalities. I think Cleveland learn some things and is better for playing Coldspring, I predict Cleveland second place over Huffman and Liberty. I'll be there hoping they beat Huffman Friday to gain respect, because only one other team in district/area is hated more than Coldspring and that was always Cleveland. Go Indians.
15. The other teams are just this bad. The talent is not there on the other teams and it all starts with bad coaching at lower levels and not getting the talented kids to play and stay playing. We should have been playing Navasota, Silsbee, or Livingston to see what really works and what just looks good on a bad team. Coldspring has good program and I know everyone wants to cry about no class when they know they are going to get killed but I didn't see "no class" comments when Splendora softball girls, Cleveland Basketball, or Bridge City Baseball run up scores on us.  Or even Crockett last year pushing our kids around during hand shaking after they beat Coldspring on their first game week of that year. So don't think we don't remember, you lucky Barbay is classy. I say run 100 points on everyone unless that coach ask for forgiveness or declare defeat either before the game or at halftime. If we sub second group, they should to sub second group.
16. I've ate crow before and will not avoid the next time it is served. I'll be the first at the table. But what I like best is roasted Falcon served in a few weeks. :o :o :o
17. When Coldspring scrimaged them one of Coldspring's players said it was the same defensive scheme as Carthrage but with one exception: the talent on defensive was not the same and too many of them was not sure of their techniques. The answer to discipline is it has to start in 7th and 8th grade with discipline and the parents will be mad (when they are benched) but it will payoff later in High School. Coldspring has at least 5-6 players that would be starters and maybe two Allstate Prospects that did not play the last two years because of discipline problems and parent interference with the coaches. At least that is what the other players said why they didn't play. Barbay will not play you if you have discipline problems or even dress out.
18. Its all in good fun. Thats the way I see this site. I don't wish anything bad for both sides and yeh Coldspring is on top right now for at least two years and they will be back to reality and everyone can enjoy again. But for now ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :) :) :) :) :) and the only way to not get beat by Coldspring is to get out of our district. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
19. I took the time and watched Huffman play Hardin-Jefferson on scout film and unless some new kids moved in the last two weeks it is going to be just as everyone stated on here. Yes, strange things do occur like 6 week grades, but I don't see it. Huffman would also get beat by Crockett and Madisonville, but Barbay will not tip his hand just before the playoffs, like he did last year. The score will be a blowout if the Coach allows it. Huffman showed good coaching, excellant field goal kicker, one good linebacker, OK QB but the line and ends on both sides are slow and weak, and there is no team defense as showed by everyone standing around opposite side of the field from the ball. Score 40-14 Coldspring only because we will miss two extra points. Sorry no trash talk just facts.
20. Normally you are right but what you don't know is Coldspring has played the same kids since they was young in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. So, they are not scared of the "big school" and if they played would be a win/win for Coldspring even if they lost or if the game was close. Livingston would have nothing to gain by playing them except to know where they are week at. Coldspring by 6 only because we struggle with the extra point.
21. As for Coldspring, a good coach goes a long ways but these kids were winning from the time they started at 4-5 years old. They was going to to be good despite who coached, maybe 9-1 and making at least three rounds instead of 10-0 and going to at least semi-finals with Barbay. They killed livingston every year growing up. I know everyone says thats in little league, but thats how a good program gets started. Barbay had the communities support and improved the kids with years of experience, a winning tradition that was started early in those kids lives.  Coldspring may scrimage Livingston next year. By the way, Coldspring's Basketball will win District and the Baseball team will make the playoffs the next two years in a row.
