Nelson's red shirt was removed this week. He will be playing for Lamar Saturday. They are playing Langston at Provost Umphrey Stadium at 7:00.

Gee, I guess you haven't seen both Starting pitchers from PNG. They are both undefeated, both low ERA, and can both hit the ball. Good luck scoring runs ganders. Go Indians!!!

This is going to be a hard fought game, but PNG's pitching shuts down the bears. Good luck shutting down the offense of ours.

[/quote]The reason why they are not playing tomorrow is that the students are takingbwhat is now called STARR test. PNG plays Friday and Saturday and Tuesday. -
Good luck keeping the PNG's offense down to 3 runs. Nelson will be on the bump and the most runs he has given up is 2 and that was to a good Livingston's team against a SFA signee. I think that PNG is going to score atleast 5+. Another tid bit of information is that Nelson has only let up 2 runs in district so far. So with that statistics posted for you. I do not think LCM will score 5.

PNG won second game yesterday against Boerne Champion 3-2. Nelson pitched 5 shutout innings, Walker pitched 1 1/3 innings allowing 2 runs, Sparrow pitched 2/3 inning allowing 0 runs.

I do believe everyone is dumb to count any of the teams out and say OH this team has a lock because of this and that. LCM and NED do not have locks. Anything can happen in high school baseball!!!

Just to let everyone know. Nelson has verbally committed to Lamar University on a full ride scholarship!

I can tell you there are a couple of >:( >:(POED >:( >:( players on the tribe. I expect to see Bertrand and Nelson with an explosive game. I don't think the Raiders have what it takes to stop the Indians.

I think if anyone believes that PNG is going to ONLY SCORE 16 points is sadly mistaken. There is a lot of talent on the PNG side. I believe y'all are going to bite a few words that have been spoken on here. If you think that our offense will stall every drive I am sadly mistaken. There are a lot of weapons that y'all will have to worry about. Are we going to run with the backer or quarter back? Are you going to see a 40+ scoring drive by Nelson with a grab over the shoulders of the defender one handed? We will see tomorrow night. Good luck Indians and scalp the cats!!!

Doty=Oregon, Merka=TCU...both went to great colleges. Otherwise, you will see a full head of steam INDIANS in your path tonight with a will to fight for a win. I think we had a weak opponent last week, but we showed what needed work. I don't think we are going to take the cougars light tonight. You will see the strong Indians tonight!!!
