  1. Bad idea. Do you think a car dealer that sells a car to a person who runs over someone should be charged?
  2. I don’t totally disagree, but nor do I have the complete answers. I will say that banning a 30 round AR will not solve the issue.
  3. It's only a gun issue because guns are available. If you ban all guns then another form of attack will come. Vehicles, bombs, chemicals, fire.... I will repeat, it is a mental health issue. Let's go to the source of the murders to fix this instead of blaming how it was carried out.
  4. If we are being honest, not to the same extent.
  5. That's a fair question too. But until someone takes an unbiased look into that answer and ALL are willing to act on the solution, we might as well be kicking rocks. Nope, this issue will continue to be politicized to push agendas from the left & right and nothing will happen.
  6. The simple answer is "You can't".
  7. Honestly, the kid could have done just as much damage driving his Ford through the parking lot after graduation and run over killing/injuring dozens. The nut job chose a firearm. Take that away and he would have chosen another media.
  8. I have a pistol, FN-57, that holds 20 rounds in a standard double-stacked clip. It's very accurate...actually once used by the Secret Service. It's not an assault rifle, but I would pit myself against a guy carrying an AR-15 any day of the week. It's not the assault rifles or any rifles for that matter that is the problem. I can take a standard carbine with a 10 round clip and have just as much portability, have a duffle bag full of clips and have just as much firing capacity. Folks, we have a MENTAL HEALTH ISSUE on our hands... Btw, Timothy McVeigh was not using an assault rifle.
  9. Prepare to pay some money though. Prices are still higher than mormal.
  10. It never hurts to listen. Unfortunately, everything gets turned into a political mess.
  11. That is the billion dollar question. I wish someone knew.
  12. That’s literally unbelievable. I just can’t fathom it. SMH
  13. I literally buy rounds 1 or 2 thousand at a time. It’s honestly not difficult.
  14. That was the point I was trying to make in my post you responded to regarding responding to a threat made on Facebook. Unless the individual did it well in advance, I would think in many instances he would beat LE to the punch.
  15. That's a fair assessment and honestly not far fetched.
  16. Yep. They are still around.
  17. How long would it take to respond to a threat like that found on FB? I'm not saying it isn't worthy of consideration, just questioning how effective it would be...
  18. I didn't agree or disagree with it. I'm saying the two instances are not related; therefore, it is not worth discussing in this topic.
  19. Apples and oranges...
  20. Depends. In this particular case, how soon did he make those posts before carrying out those acts?
  21. 1. Keeping them locked away is common sense. Did you go to class to lock your car, your home, etc. to protect from someone accessing them? 2. The ones who have guns responding to the assailant already have plenty of training (Law Enforcent).
  22. What good will the gun safety/handling provide…a safer more accurate assailant? Btw, other than this account under an assumed moniker, I have no social media…that would not necessarily work either.
  23. Fixed it for ya. Lol.
