[b]Katy vs. Cibolo Steele[/b] at 2 p.m. from Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco and [b]DeSoto vs. Allen[/b] at 6 p.m. from Ford Stadium in Dallas will be on FoxsportsSW Fox Sports Southwest will air two Class 5A semifinals Saturday, which is unusual on a couple of fronts. One is that semifinals rarely get picked up, even though FSS has the rights to UIL playoff games beginning with the quarterfinals. The second is that they are airing from different locations – Katy vs. Cibolo Steele at 2 p.m. from Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco and DeSoto vs. Allen at 6 p.m. from Ford Stadium in Dallas. Travis Stewart and Greg Tepper from Dave Campbell’s Texas Football will call Katy-Steele along with LaDarrin McLane, and Roger Emrich, Shea Walker and Jim Knox will call DeSoto-Allen. *Note My guide on Dish Network does not show these games and shows Basketball games.  Last weekend FSSW program guide was all wrong almost all weekend......

Navasota also killed 4A Montgomery in a scrimmage 6 TD's to 0, not even close. Navasota's talent transfer over all levels, its the [b]depth[/b] that usually does not but Navasota has good 2nd String also. I've watched Texas High School football since 1973 and this Navasota team can play with anyone. The only thing that will beat them will be [b]turnovers[/b] and they even overcame that against ex 4A La Marque. IMO Navasota beats Summer Creek, I've seen both teams play also.

Congrats to Navasota-Congrats WOS on a great season- They dominated the game I watched. WOS made mistakes but Navasota had to make them pay for them. WOS coach is wrong on this one.

Just an outsiders observation after watching Navasota three times- They have a real good Fg Kicker/Punter. How good is the kickers for WOS? Curious who has the special teams advantage? Might decide the game.
