Montgomery beats Magnolia 15-7 making district a tight race. [Hidden Content]

Brenham reloads every year. To underestimate them would be a very big mistake. They have one of the best coaching staffs going and they will make playoffs (most likely win district) with so called average talent/size. Just another opinion from an experienced Brenham rival.

Lots of top recruits practicing and going to announce their college of choice during these practices. Johnthan Grey Mario Edwards Malcolm Brown from Texas plus other on these teams. ESPN U 141 Dish 3:00pm today and tommorrow. The game is at 6:30PM Thursday on ESPN.

IMO Desmond Richards of Magnolia West should of at least been honorable mention. He has carried that team last 3 years. Malcolm Brown left of the list? Big mistake-He was the district MVP.

What ever happened to the good RB from early 90's believe 92 Ray Fisher saw him play against Montgomery and Crockett- boy he could run you over. Had like 250 yards against Montgomery that year.

Completely agree you never know whats going to happen in the playoffs wish college would do the same it would be better also.

Congratulations Vidor- you outplayed Montgomery on all sides of the ball and was the better team. Proud of the Montgomery team for a great year and not giving up. Good luck to Vidor against Angleton and hope ya'll go to state. Will be rottin for you guys rest of the way with Brenham also. Thanks Mark for the great shots of the game.

If I was an Oklahoma State player or coach, I would start riding the bus because the plane ride seems to be to dangerous. Sad

I think alot of Brenham's opponents fans need to realize that their expectations are set a bar higher than most because of the programs past success. Maybe not a state championship yet but they are usually in the conversation. We have to deal with them every year in district and keep getting close. Believe me it gets old hearing about them but most programs just wish to establish the reputation that they have going. They are not hype they have earned the talk. They have good teams on quote rebuilding years because of coaching. Our bar is set to beat them and one day clear that. Go Brenham and 17-4A!

Biggest problem with fishing right now is half the lakes are empty and most boat launchs are dry. Lake Conroe looks like a pasture right now in alot of places. Looks like we will have to just continue with football  ;D

After listening to the preview show and alot of fans on this board- looks like nobody respects Montgomery and is looking forward to next week. Huntsville Crosby Pearland Dawson did that and recieved a ticket home. Alot of people said Montgomery fans did not respect Vidor but after hearing all the talk sounds opposite to me. We where predicted to finish 3rd/4th in district this year losing our star RB and QB plus most of O-line. They also enjoy hearing about how they are not going to win.  Remember heart and bulletin board material goes both ways, keep it coming.

You trojan fans are too far West of SETX and are basically outsiders.  Us folks caught in the middle -to far from Houston and to far from SETX that have good football teams must pose a threat to some fans. The Houston coverage never pays attention till you get late rounds of the playoffs. Winning will always quiet the naysayers.
