Newton's JV and 8th grade would have beaten Deweyville's varsity this year......they had a combined record or 17-2......not including their 7th grade went 8-1 also.............deweyville will be back in the gutter after next year.  anygiven friday needs to crawl back into the sewer he crawled out of.

I will second that........Mart is better coached, skilled, and has more playoff experience than SA.  Cosby will have an ESPN highlight reel against SA.  SA better get those basketballs aired up after next week.  I will pick Mart 58-19.

SA is going to get hulled out against Mart.  MART is that good!

I know two coaches who bought houses there,tried to be part of the community and even had their kids going to school there and when they decided to clean house they made those guys hit the road.  That was just an excuse for the them to get rid of this guy.  Who wants to move their if they are not "hometown" guys????????  SO they can live there 2 years and get fired???

I posted the above talking about certain people in the community.....ultimately the coaches, their families, and the kids suffer.

[/quote] I disagree, Groveton beat Alto and SA beat us, bottom tier of the District is weak like most are. CC and NW beat Woodville the only head to head with that District so I disagree with your assessment.  Coach Babin brought a whole different scheme offensively and defensively to Deweyville and he made several personnel changes on both sides of the ball.  Like SA's Coach said after our game this year, if the same Coach was here at Deweyville we would have beat you 60-0.  Coach Babin deserves credit for making the changes he did. [/quote] He does deserve some credit but ya'll were never behind the other guy ya'll had coaching there and/or bickham.  The two coaches before couldnt do any thing right if I remember.......Two many of the town idiots would sling mug at the previous coaches.........so they kids start hearing this nonsense and never play up to potential.  I am glad ya'll are behind the guy you got now but in two years he will be burning rubber outta town for a better job when the talent dries up.

Mart is the best team in 1A and many coaches who have played them have said that over and over.......WS or SA will not beat Mart.

[/quote] LIke I said.........You practice catching all day long but last time I checked Daniel Marsh has already graduated.............THe coach has HIS system he believes in.......running the ball and controlling the clock is alot easier to teach when you have lesser talent than running around,throwing the ball and going 3 and out every series and punting.  I dont care how much you practice throwing and catching.  If you are in Hardin......you are not going to be able to throw the ball against any decent teams like Newton or EC anyway.

I agree with you guys.....THe pirates rip the hornets a new one..........I say 56-20.

If he's seriously hurt....I get it.......but I have heard from people around that certain people are too worried about him getting hurt for baseball.  I hope the young man gets better if he is hurt.
