    Deweyville improved to 4-0 with a 43-31 win over Starks. James Menard had 19 and 6 boards. Cade Watson scored 8 and had 7 assists. Ryan Bland led DV with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks.

    Good win for the Pirates. I believe they are still knocking the rust off. I like seeing the Pirates play up in competition. It only makes you better when district starts. That always seemed to work when I was coaching. Good luck this season men.

    Dave Campbells 2A team of the week. Pirates remain focused they have a shot at moving on in the playoffs. The Pirate defense is solid. I'll be in Tomball Saturday night for hopefully a Pirate team making more history!
