what position do you play in club..... how many off your club team will start for vidor...

Yep forgot Hunter Allen. And for the super two.. or div one... The div one under nineteen usually come in and form after college for the National Cup. So by guidelines there is no seperation but by quality there still is. Several of the teams in the league are not quality to be considered Div One and maybe no Super 2. I still say Kelly has the same count add one to super 2. Happy Thanksgiving to all....

I guess succes can be seen thru the club system.. Kelly has 3 div 1 players... 2 div 2 players and 5 super 2 players. After that nothing and so the bench has to be developed to conform to the style of play your team will be working in a game. So high school coaches have to work hard on getting a cohesiveness to develop. Drills in tight spaces force the non club players to make decisions under pressure and hours of drills to develop their touch. Unfortunate for the club players who are forced to hold up on their development to allow these others to catch up. At Kelly there will be usually 2 or 3 non club players on the field at one time. I am sure that most of the local high schools will have fewer club players than we do but several probably have more than we do. Bon Mot is correct in saying that there is plenty of other clubs developing great players and being successful locally as well as in Houston or elsewhere. Either which way Kelly is 4-0-2 and doing well... soooo however we gots what we gots.. go dawgs....

The things I agree with on playing club. At least playing any level of club your getting touch on the ball and some decision making in a game. Whatever level your playing at will dictate the speed your decisions are made. Obviously higher Div 1 games are faster than Div 2 and it is the same between lowest level to highest level. I also beleive that the players have to adjust from club to high school and high school back to club. Different speed and different style and different coaching. The good players that are confident in their game can do this and be successful at both. IT is sometimes probably better to have a player that hasnt played anywhere than one that doesnt believe anything their coach is saying because it isnt what club does and they have been in the club longer than with high school. Its important that the club trainers and coaches adjust the kids game to the basics of defending, attack, and touch on the ball. If you dont condemn a player to ONE position and teach them the whole game, then any player can play anwhere on a field. Sure you need a finisher and a keeper. You cant teach the personality that makes those two positions successful but only funnel their energy the way you need it. So kickit your team and you are at least doing more than most the players in the area are.

Scott Poole without a doubt if he continues to play... will play div one soccer in college if he so desires. The experience and speed he is playing at is amazing and so he will be ready.. congrats to him.. I do not beleive all the Kelly players listed are interested in playing college soccer... Not saying they couldnt if they wanted.

no doubt kelly has games under its belt.. the bad part of their schedule is they get playing and momentum then have a two to three week break between games. but still have twelve games under our belts before playing public schools. so yes an advantage.

Aries is rite on the money. Kellys also being asked to do a few new things with a new coach. So some of the defensive breakdowns may be the coaches fault. It is still all good. and aries is again .. correct

I am bias. KELLY.. OF COURSE. all bias aside. Lumberton second. West Brook Third......... then Central.... Nederland.... PnG...... Can silsbee pull off another big season... LcM.. Vidor.... and Memorial. That is my top ten... in order.

Coach Burdick is doing a great job with a young team. Has them concentrating on playing the correct way and they have accepted and are doing it. Great things with a young team. The future looks bright.

that header of dynamos was great ... and the last fifteen was pretty exciting.. another header by new england at the end was their chance but......... didnt happen... WAY TO GO DYNAMO...

Kelly Got Second Place in tournament.... All tournament players from Kelly were............. Matt Kirby Ben Hanks Matt Horning.... all well deserved and probably a couple of others could have. thats a forward ,center mid, and last defender so down the middle. Congratulations

It was a good weekend of soccer. Some really high highs.. and some really low lows. Alot of good things happened and so the tournament was a success and the results were successful. Alot of improvement by alot of players. St Louis hasnt lost game while we were there and neither had we. so the other five teams have lost games so us and St Louis were leading in points. If they win and lose then we win the tournament. if they at least win and tie their last two games then they win..should have all tournament information to post later when the last game is played they will release all tournament. The kelly guys played well and it was a great time. thanks...

HMMM I remember being at that game... standing on the fence.... who was that shooting and running and gunning.. for the life of me... O yes i remember it was ...... never mind I will let Davej figure it out ..

wouldnt it be great if Davy would get another call up for that game. Then I WOULD be there for sure. And heck maybe we go anyway it would be like going overseas for a game or traveling out of country for one. GOOO USA..

The Kelly boys soccer teams posted two wins tonight at Houston Episcopal high school. Jv wins 3-0 to improve their record to 1 win no losses and 2 ties. The jv is playing a very good style of soccer and working hard with one sub or two if lucky. Varsity is playing extremely well. Alot of solid play and some great things. Great Job Kelly Dawgs... MoM .. Kirby... Not as good as our two previous performances but good to be THREE AND OOOOOOOOOO.

Who is the offensive coordinator at memorial.. and seems like the defensive coordinator should be worried at the point totals they give up...

It wasnt luck at all... It was about good verses evil... There was no luck but an intervention from above ;D The "better" bunch won... And can you imagine how long its going to take the coach that called that pass and the qb that threw that pass takes to get over it. I would bet there was lots of sleep lost last night
