34-16 Deweyville Final

Not blaming the loss on penalties, just trying to give the Eagles a heads up.
-
Holding calls in the 1st qtr. Some teams may take advantage of that.Just sayin'.

To NewtonNation:Thanks for the kind words about my Grandson from you and the Eagle fans.He leaves it all on the field, win or lose.Good luck to Newton against C-C when y'all meet but the Eagles need to watch out for unnecessary, away from the ball penalties.

Newton Nation,Has been a tough season so far,but we will give it our best.Keep your eyes on the QB.Hope we have a good clean game.

If #4 can has a heartbeat, he will play!

Excellent kicker even though Waldrep took one 95 yds for a TD for the Pirates Friday night
-
Woodville
-
Don't be too hasty. If Woodvile should win , it won't be easy.

Kville1968,Thanks for the compliment to #4 Brendon Waldrep. He leaves it all on the field every game. Hope the Wildcats go far this year.
-
No,Senior Brendon Waldrep started at QB and the first play was a 70yd TD pass from Waldrep to Robert Brinson. Triston Gordon had an INT,a TD and a couple of passes defensed. The Pirates looked
quite a bit better this week after some key position changes on both sides of the ball. Hubbard played the 4th qtr with Waldrep at TB.

Really couldn't tell against EC.No consistency.in the run game.Rain was a factor in the passing game.

Does ponderossa ever have a positive/good comment about anything? I guess he's a better judge of talent than the district's coaches.

Coach Babin-Deweyville.District Champs his first year as AD-Head Coach

Where's Injun Red???

Did San Augustine play Friday night? If so what was the score of their game?
-
Have a feeling next year's schedule may be tougher with a new AD.

It's Brendon Waldrep not Brennan Waltrep. We have seen it spelled many ways.
