SETXsports is always there to bring you live sports action involving area teams and we need your help again! SETXsports will be broadcasting the Silsbee Tigers' quest for a 2nd consecutive 4A State Championship. But we are also underway with making arrangements to broadcast the Port Arthur Memorial Titans and their quest for 5A State Title. We are looking for sponsors in South and Mid County to sponsor the Titan broadcasts for the weekend! The costs of state broadcasts are a little pricey as the UIL fees alone are around $400 per team! Of course, there are also sponsorship opportunities for businesses in the Silsbee area for the Tiger Broadcasts if you have not done so yet! The Silsbee Tigers look to punch their ticket to a 3rd straight trip to San Antonio as they take on the Houston Yates in this Class 4A Region III Final! Joe Sigler's Tigers, now 27-8 the season, reached this round with a 98-63 bi-district win over Huntington, a 84-54 area round win over Houston North Forest, a 99-76 regional quarterfinal win over Houston Scarborough and a 75-66 win over Waco Connally last night in the regional semifinals tonight. Meanwhile, the Lions, champions of District 24-4A, reached this round with a 111-78 bi-district win over Cleveland, a 110-49 area round win over West Orange-Stark, a 114-56 regional quarterfinal win over Hardin-Jefferson and a 94-68 win over Liberty Hill in the regional semifinals. The winner of this game will advance to the Class 4A State Tournament in San Antonio next weekend.
