Looking back, I didn't realize things would go this far. Let me first start off by telling what I am NOT apologizing for and that is the week long banishment of jesusfreak.  He had taken it upon himself to trash the site in open forum and I simply care too much for such conduct to go unsanctioned.  I harbor no remorse about that action and would do the same today in the same situation. That being said, I want to apologize to you guys, especially to Jordan, Mike, Joey and Kerry as I certainly didn't intend my action to trigger the reaction that have caused each of you in some way angst and bother in what I thought was a simple disagreement between me and another moderator. Sorry, guys.

Another mod pm'd me this morning stating the exact same thing.  Well, I will be at Eastex on a project that I promised, in between my tasks at work.  It is a lot quieter over there and today that is a good thing.

And he is started on it again, this morning.  Joey, you better settle that boy down.

Great news!  Continued wishes for a speedy recovery.  For those that may not recall, Mark Foreman was one of the driving forces for the overdue All-Star Classic that was played this fall.  And I also know that any kid at WO-S that crosses his path, whether they are an athlete or not, is considered his kid. Now that it is out there, this story won't end until the district executive committee either 1)says that there is not enough to the story to investigate or 2) they do investigate and clear the school.

[/quote] Well, let's let all of the facts get out before pointing fingers here.  We don't know if the player is indeed ineligible, that is being investigated.  If he is, let's not automatically assume the level of knowledge that anyone on the coaching staff had.

As was announced on KFDM Channel 6's Sports Xtra last night, here are the SETXsports.com Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for Week 8: [b]Offense - David Green, QB, Beaumont Ozen[/b] Green was brilliant in the Panthers' near upset of Port Neches-Groves on Saturday, racking up huge numbers in the 49-42 double overtime loss to the Indians.  Green completed 19 of 33 passes for 309 yards and 4 touchdowns.  He added 105 yards and 2 more touchdowns on 19 carries for the Panthers.  That's right, 414 total yards and 6 touchdowns on the night. [b]Defense - Ethan Clark, DB, Buna[/b] Clark had 4 tackles and 2 interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns in Buna's 55-7 rout of Kountze.  Clark took one interception to the house from 46 yards out and returned the other 38 yards! Finally, three days after it was played, I have finally gotten a score from the Galveston O'Connell/Huntsville Alpha Omega game.  I can confirm that the game was indeed played that Huntsville Alpha Omega, in it's sixth game of the season, finally.... ......scored.  They scored 12 points!  Unfortunately, they gave up 40 in the 40-12 loss to O'Connell on Friday night!
