Both of those suits are for injunctive relief, meaning that they want to prevent the enforcement of a law. It does not appear that any damages were sought so there will be no million dollar settlements there. Also, I might need a bit of help from tvc on this, but in cases where injunctive relief is sought, there is at least a preliminary hearing a couple of weeks after the filing to see about at least entering a temporary restraining order. Given the dates of the articles, those hearings should have occurred by then. Do you have any word on the disposition of those hearings?

Maybe even some Rule 17 judgments against some plaintiffs.

Kelly will host Tomball Christian Homeschool Friday at 7

He had already asked both and both declined. He said he may have a taker. I'll have more, if and when it is finalized.

He said he had already called BC. They declined as their district starts play this week and their first district game is next week.

Cypress Christian/Beaumont Kelly has been canceled by Cypress Christian. Kelly looking for a new opponent.

Some coaches don't want to risk injury a week before district. Some want that extra week to heal up before district. I'll have to look at the others, but WO-S didn't schedule a bye before district because their bye is built in to the district schedule due to having an uneven number of teams in district.

Actually, Nederland/Austin will be a go. HISD let schools started fall practice on 9/8 and Austin's 1st game of the season will be next week against Nederland (hopefully).
