  1. There may be something to that, I have just seen that the offending tweets have been deleted.
  2. LOL!. No, only Memorial does that one justice!
  3. And he just texted me back confirming that KOGT will carry the WO-S/LC-M game.
  4. I have texted Gary to see.
  5. Winning by three touchdowns makes for a pretty nice umbrella. LOL!
  6. Well, when the face of your school district goes off in that manner, pushback should be expected. Had he merely voiced concerns about safety, then it may have not been such a big deal. However, not only did it not stop there, it didn't start there, either. Here was an earlier tweet by Superintendent Snob: BarbersHillSUPT ‏@BarbersHillSoup Aug 26 20-0 good guys. 2 min left n half. Packed house but it took awhile. Vidor parking & traffic control is embarrassing It seems that the dainty super simply intended on making Friday night his own personal gripe fest so please don't be so surprised if folks from Orange County are a little put out.
  7. Just read the article you referenced.
  8. The biggest nagging question that I had about Navasota this season was the intangible of what happened last spring with Coach Fedora and how that reaction would carry over to this season. I know we are only one game into the season, but I have to say that the performance of the Rattlers, particularly on defense where they were supposed to be particularly strong, has done nothing to keep that question from being a nagging one. This is in no way meant to assail the abilities of Coach Goodman who by all accounts of people whose opinion I trust is a great coach and even better person. However, I wonder if he has been left holding a bag of discontent. Sure, nobody, especially those of us nestled near the Texas/Louisiana state line, will ever really know the entire story. But unless the rest of the story includes criminal or unethical activity or a major shortfall in some other facet of the HC or AD position (none of which ever came to light as far as I know), should the rest of the story matter? Yes, it was ultimately his decision to leave after finally being renewed but I think it is fair to say that the manner in which the renewal process went down would leave any coach to believe that they really weren't wanted. All that said, it is probably a tad early to play Chicken Little and declare that the sky is falling. The Rattlers will be alright. However, that begs the question....Will Rattler fans be content with "alright."
  9. That was my mistake. I have corrected it. Sorry, guys!

  11. That is what I saw.
  12. If he loses a coin toss, he is not going to have a choice..
  13. I guarantee that if Barbers Hill does make the playoffs and I am the coach of the opposing team, I am making sure that I toss for the field and if I win and I put their snobbish behinds back on a grass field
  14. [Hidden Content] I commend the young girl for her understanding.

  17. They won't be affected at all for a couple of years.
  18. no look - I found yours again, you got 18 of 25 ace2335 - You missed 6: Dayton, Tarkington, Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Corrigan-Camden, Hardin and Burkeville I had tried to put the entries on spreadsheet and thought that worked but it appears that is not the case. So I will go back to manually checking the picks which I won't do 'til the Sunday after the games are played. Of course, this will result in the results being revealed much later....SOMETHING WHICH I WANT TO HEAR NOTHING about. I guess I'll need to make this clear, these pick 'ems are NOTmy priority and I reserved the right to discontinue them...no notice required! I can, I have and I will.
  19. No, they are counted as a win. And going through the picks (which were edited at 6:21 on Friday), I did see that you missed just 4.
  20. Hmmm, I remember seeing yours. But I guess I didn't put it o my spreadsheet. I'll look into it.
  21. Okay. I think we are done with this one.
