Good win Pirates, no excuses here. The way we started tonight im suprised we were still in it at the end. It looked for a while like we wouldnt be able to generate enough offense to compete.

I think Vidor is flat out better than Nederland this year. They have the athletes and ability to move the ball pretty much against anyone and, sorry Mom and Dad, this might be the worst defense Nederland has had in a very long time. Small up front, young in the back, and just not very athletic. Vidor will control the clock and make every Nederland possession extra important. That's a tough thing for a team with quarterback questions/issues to manage. Nederland's big advantage is mental. Do the Vidor coaches and players actually believe they can beat Nederland? That's to be seen. Neither team has beaten anyone........ Definitely not the worst defense in a while, nor the best. Really not that bad up front on D, stayed on the field alot early on due to revolving QBs and quality opponents. I will let you be the judge on our Oline....... You say mentality is to our advantage, may as well add coaching to that. This should be a very good game!!!!!

Gotta agree, the turnout wasnt good. And the atmosphere was definitely lacking, cant put my finger on it but it just didnt feel like a 22-5a district game to me. justsayin.....

I can't speak for everyone but, I thought he looked great.... He throws well and accurately... He isn't lightning but I thought he moved well. And some were calling for his head? Be grateful, 3yr starters at QB are hard to come by.

Still say our best asset is our oline. With the exception of WOS, our line and run game has been very effective.

I dont see anyone in the Stangs path....But possibly themselves.

Yep...they used the same blue print that we use on the Injuns. We run the ball down yalls throat, and keep the next best thing Injun O off the field. Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda....Isnt that how it goes? Lol!!!!

Well, one thing's for sure....He's not there now. Two of the better olines in the district, the difference is our ability to throw.

I think at this point you gotta believe Pam is the favorite, Harrison looked seasoned and Hines can scoot. PNG , Ned, and Vidor might have a say so for the top spot as well. Still too early for me to pick a winner or order, soooo many things can happen between now and then.
