  1. Different night for HJ, coming out fired up with hopefully better weather and better field conditions. If so HJ wins by 2 possessions. If the weather is bad, expect another hard fought game from both HJ and OF
  2. Don't count HJ out. BC's field by 2nd half was soo bad and muddy, that it came down to who could get the stronger push up front and power it for yards. BC showed that it was them and proved it by shutting HJ to a mere 0 and putting up 14. (with a last second interception for a TD to make it 20). I owe credit to BC for having more heart in the 2nd half and they probably deserved the win. However, I think its a very different game with HJ on top if the players could have used their skill and the weather was otherwise.
  3. i agree.. i dont want you HJ fans to be using that as an excuse for losing!!! ;D ;D ;D YEP WE WOULD NOT WANT TOO LOSE ANY FUMBLES Yup...he will definitly be there and so will I haha, too funny... you going to the game? or are you all talk? lol
  4. HJ vs. Bridge City JV Final HJ - 18 BC-36 HJ vs Bridge City Freshman Final HJ- 24 BC- 48 or something like that
  5. Since when do longhorns get maul, clawed, or shreded by bobcats? You rope longhorns i think thats why the put that ;D
  6. James Morrison 7 Catches 195 yards 1 TD Missing the catch from Kirbyville

  8. YOU must be completely insane. The Panthers are taking HUGE steps each week. I say they beat Huffman, Tarkington, and Shepherd. And I know for a fact they'll play Coldspring hard. The Panthers have heart and never give up. They are resilient. That game may turn out to be a very good game and one to look out for. If Liberty continues to progress each week. We'll see what happens
  9. Ok first of all, you have no idea what you're talking about. Deweyville isn't exactly the New York Jets. Not really the definition of a "great win". Good luck on riding Hallmark's coat tails the rest of the season, but even the Great Roman Empire fell. And when Hallmark falls, who will be there to catch him? Not you, BUC EM UP... Rooooooonnnnnnnn BURGANDYYY!! lol
  10. They always have been since moving down to 3A. If anyone wants to do it, this is the year to do it. But we all know by the time district comes, them mustangs come well prepared and with alot of aggression. Silsbee is up first. We will see how it turns out in 6 days. As far as the BC and HJ game, BC finally gets the game back at home after traveling away for the last two years.
  11. WOS not having this bye week right before district can only help WO-S if they stay injury free, or hurt them if they get a few injuries.
  12. If WO-S avoids injuries tomorrow night! That Royal team is going to give them all they want over there.
  13. Might be a low scoring game. HJ and BC both run spread offense, so the defenses should be well prepared and know what to expect atleast to a slight bit. It comes down to heart for this game. Whoever has the most desire and passion to win will win this game. Also, the team with best execution and lack of mistakes. Best of luck to HJ! I say they take this one
  14. Sure it wasnt more in the 40's? last time OF was at our home field yall did out score us by 34 points... but that season if you didn't score atleast 60 on our defense you werent good... that was a horrible season for us.... but it wont happen like that again... we proved that last year... most intense game i've ever been apart of!!! and Sloe... i dont think HJ will make the playoffs this year! jmo... Think all you want, but I think they will. I think everyone, including HJ, are being homers atleast somewhat to their own team. This is a clean slate this year for every team in district except HF (sorry. I'd like to see a battle though against the other teams and I think they can if they play with some desire.). As of right now everyone has a good shot at making it to the playoffs. I'm just ready for district to start now so the talking can stop and the games can begin! my heart races just thinking about this district. ITS GOING TO BE A GREAT ONE THIS YEAR! goodluck to HJ!!

  16. Nothing in this district would shock me at this point. Except for Hamshire making the playoffs that would shock me. Other than that, all the times have a decent shot at making it. I dont think WOS has a locked up the 1st place spot, but that spot is in their advantage I would say.
  17. Orangefield has a great chance to beat Silsbee IMHO. It might be WOS, HJ, and Orangefield as the top 3
  18. Lumberton 33-6 Loss Liberty 49-40 Loss EC 21-0 Loss Huffman 41-14 Loss HF is 0-4, andJasper wont be able to control the clock, because theyll be scoring too much. HAHAHAH! umm I think HF might score reallllll late in this one... Jasper 56 HF 6

  20. yea im sayin k-ville H-J doesnt seem to be the same this year HJ is better this year if that is what you're trying to say. However Kville does have many athletes and if HJ plays like they did first half against EC it will be a long night. But if they come out fired up like they did first half against Vidor, they can be in this game very much so. Best of luck to the hawks!!
  21. HJ might be in another shootout this week. Hopefully that defense gets situated this week to help HJ's offense out a little more.
  22. Jacoby Turner from HJ against East Chambers...2 rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown, plenty of rushing yards and alot of kick off returns yards as well. I don't know official stats though.
  23. Those time were probably the times when the ball was fumbled!
