I think HJHawks 7 pulled out the wrong 'audience' for his thread. If i recall there was two people from HF that were posting pretty harshly as well before HJ and Hf game and after. Maybe not as bad, but pretty offensively enough for him to make a comment. I refuse to hear however, Lazeek, that HJ lost pretty bad against Cleveland. The score was 22-0 with 2 big plays for touchdowns. A bad score is the one against a good WO-S team or Silsbee like in the 40's. I would love to see WO-S do great in their division and I would like to see both Silsbee and HJ advance to second round. I'm sure cleveland has improved but HJ's offense along with defense has muchh improved and they played tough, tough teams to end the season. HJ will advance.

Hj's whole offense is returning except for Trey Burrell and the Tackle on the line. On defense HJ will be losing 1 saftey, 3 backers and 2 D line.

I'm actually reconsidering...Theres no way Coldspring's offense is going to move the ball much on offense. They will have to get a big play or two from their defense and start in their own territory. WOS-about 40 Coldsprings 0-7

There is no way the score can be worse than what it was the first time these two teams matched up. However HJ's offense is much improved from the first time these two teams matched up. It'll be a lower scoring game. Not many big plays

Lets just set aside a district for Silsbee, K-ville, and WO-S. I think they argue THE MOST out of any other teams on this board about who would of done what this year. ;D and hey Skipper, I'm sorry man, but you really need to get the grammar right between your "are" and "or". This is the third topic I've seen you post putting 'are' instead of 'or'.

I really think WO-S is going to do good against coldspring. Maybe a good game early...but WO-S will come out. 41-14

Silsbee didn't make many mistakes, and when they did HJ did not capitalize off of them. Good job to the Tigers and good luck to both.

Just a Little bit of relative-love from nostradamus to Lazeek . I think HJ will play a good game this week against Silsbee as well. They need a few players to step up big this week, but mainly overall just need to keep the players healthy for Silsbee and HJ. I think Silsbee is a good team for HJ to end the season anyways and get ready for Cleveland!! They are going down.

yea HJ will beat Cleveland this time. WOS-Coldspring almost ain't even fair, and Silsbee and Huffman...Iunno...Silsbee will just win cause they are better.

WOW! I cannot beleive how much Bull crap is being said from our own people now that we are 3-0 in district. While it is very hysterical, I don't think we have earned a decent right of talking all this "ish". Lets, for now, let the naysayers talk, and next year after they realized how good we did, or towards the end of the season after its all said and done, then lets come out with the talking. We haven't proved much yet. District Championship, then I think we reserve the right.

2000 or 2001 it rained really hard around the Vidor area. I remember it being ankle deep water. You almost drown when ur at the bottom of the pile and it sucks really bad!

HJ hasn't been the team attracting many fans in the recent years . Now they are playing good. Theres alot of room around the track though, so you can always just stand up

That's funny...if a particular sport were king then you would think that sport would have the most state championships and state appearances in a given area. In SE TExas basketball has more than double the state appearances and state championships that football does going back over 40 years.....and football has twice as many state championships to play for. Hmmmmm....so much for being king. This definitly can't be a basketball coach... or can it? ;D

Not yet!!!!!!! Need a win over WOS or Silsbee or a Silsbee win over HF to send the Hawks to the playoffs!!!!! Go Tigers, because I hope it does not come down to HJ beating Silsbee in the last game of the year!!!! I think HJ can win at Silsbee but I do not want the playoffs to depend on it!!! I really don't understand why u wouldn't want your team to beat another team to advance to the playoff. I know you have a reason for saying that so clarify it for me would you? hes practically saying he would much prefer Silsbee beating HF this Friday.

actually WOS isnt improving as much as HJ is but that is just because WOS has always been a power house while HJ has been pretty bad in recent years soo noo WOS will not score 66 on this HJ defense especially since WOS's line isnt as good as in years past and i guarentee it will be alot closer game then most people think HJ is not the cupcake team they have been in the past they are ready to play and confident soo i say WOS 28 HJ 14 The only way WOS doesnt score 66 or above will be because Coach Hooks calls em off! Make sure youre on the forum after the game, dont disappear! :'( I'll be on here the day after HJ and WOS play so...we'll see what happens man.

I just didn't see any lack of class from the HJ players what so ever on the field. There may be some on the forum, but i was talking about on the field. HF came dancing out there and talking smack and everything. HJ straight up played them and won and celebrated after the game was over. I don't really tihnk the penalties were one sided as well. At one point HJ was 3rd and 25 after 3 straight penalties.

Yea, so without stating it, ur saying HJ is going to lose to Silsbee and HF will end up beating them. Silsbee, being the team that shoulda beat WO-S, and HF being the team that lost to WO-S 66-0 and WO-S played without Hypolite against HF, that sounds fantastic man. And I'll take a gander that HJ does win another game this season fisherking. Your going to be swallowing your words

Unless you wanna watch Buna get handled pretty well, I'd hope Anahuac would make the playoffs, in which I think they are playoff caliber.

K-Ville talks a WHOLE lot of smack too, but they reserve the right I guess being 7-0 and defeating decent teams. ;D I'm still not liking it much however hah. 8) 8)

This HJ team is NOT the same team that lost to Cleveland in Week 0!!!!!!!! Same players, but different mentallity!!!!!! This HJ team will beat Cleveland in the 1st round of the playoffs........that is a guarantee!!!!! After the coaches realized that their style towards the kids was wrong during the half of the Woodville game (2nd game and lost 11-14), they've used the players advantages and now have been playing great with enthusiasm. Notice how much the Hawks have picked it up. HJ definitly can beat Cleveland now as well. I also strongly believe HJ can atleast compete with WO-S. More than half of you said Silsbee getting blown out by WOS, but look what happened, I think this is how this game will be as well.

They're slowly earning it. But you can't expect HJ just to get a bunch of respect after winning 3 games straight in district. They lost to Woodville which haven't accomplished anything lately. Can't just expect the Hawks to get a bunch of respect finally winning 4 games in one season. Its going to develop, but I really don't think this game will be a huge margin. I think the coaching staff has done a great job at HJ against the last three teams HJ has played, they are showing enthusiasim, and I think the coaches will come out with a great gameplan that try to completly throw off the Mustangs. HJ might try to beat them off bad allignment, but we'll see come Friday.
