obviously not you so you maybe should have stayed off the thread. I think the turnout will be one of the best home game crowds in years (on the PNG side). The excitement about this season is very high and you should expect a large number of fans at the game. Ill be there early!

this is true. the white uni's in these pics are the JV uniforms. The varsity road whites follow the same pattern as the home jerseys shown above only white. Im still torn on the design. I wish someone had shown Coach Faircloth some video of the 89/90 uniforms. They are still the best in PNG history. If they had to follow a template I would have used TCU's only with purple instead of black pants but none of this really matters if they win.

I totally agree but not only does it help some folks, it helps me. Now I only have to text the score one time for all my "friends" to get the updates.

This was posted a few months ago but football season is quickly approaching so I wanted to bring it up again. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested who works or is out of town and cannot make a game to receive up to the minute scores via the web or a text message. Just sign up for a twitter page and follow "pngindians". You'll then need to register your cell phone to receive text updates. Theres no added cell phone charges to receive the text updates other than what you would normally pay now. If you have unlimited text messaging then its a non issue. The idea was thought of and done by "BigDog" from this site and bigned.com. Nederland fans or anyone curious about the Nederland games can follow the Nederland page: "NedDogs". Remember, even if you're not a PNG or Nederland fan you can sign up for the updates if your favorite school is on their schedule. At least for that one week you'll be provided scoring updates. Ill also try to pass along scores from other local teams during the PNG games that get provided to us. not who you were asking the question but IMO the entire district is heading back in the right direction. PNG- coaching change will work wonders- will be better LCM- new coach from an established winner- will be better Ozen- new coach that will do well- will be better Nederland- same ol coach but with much talent coming back- will be better Vidor- most returning starters from a decent 08 team- will be better Central- new coach, long playoff run last year but loses a lot of those guys- probably the same Lumberton- same coach and Anthony Beard- probably the same Livingston- dont know much about them except their superstar from last year graduated- probably worse overall I see a stronger, more competitive 20-4A with few if any "pushovers".

this is a really nice idea bigdog. As much time as I usually spend texting during the PNG games it would be nice to "tweet" (still think that sounds stupid) one time and any interested parties would receive it.

why? because Central only has 3 returning starters and are predicted to finish 5th? There really is no difference in being placed 3rd-6th IMO so Im having a hard time feeling sorry for Central, theyll be fine.

maybe..he can call it a fantasy all he wants but you cannot take away the free practice time your QB & WR's and DB's are getting going up against each other. It cannot hurt anytime you're giving your QB more reps with his WR's or your DB's getting reps vs WR's in a semi controlled environment. I could care less about W's or L's during the 7 on 7's but I like watching the boys when they practice well.

The '90 helmet was the custom one right? What did the '89 helmet look like? someone can correct me if im wrong but it had the Florida State logo below on a white helmet with purple mask. the logo was the picture below but with a purple/grey color scheme and either PNG or Indians on the feathers instead of Florida State.
