1. Franks will NOT end up at Texas.
 2.
If Brenham reads this board, and is as convinced as some of these PNG fans are that they are unbeatable, Brenham probably won't show up. Like I said, I like PNG, but some of the PNG fans on here are mental midgets, and pretty elementary when it comes to football.  Football is a game of matchups, and if you think that because Brenahm lost to Waller, Brenham has no chance against a team that has beat one quality opponent in OT, then give me some of what you are drinking. Brenham will be a lot like the Central team that gave PNG all it wanted and more.  They will be bigger, faster, and much more athletic than PNG.  That don't mean they will win, but it will mean that PNG will have its hands full, and will have to probably play their best game of the year to win.  I hope they do win, I like to follow them through the playoffs, but I think the NDN season will end in Aldine.
thanks for the support bobo.

Not to mention the 2nd round game could possibly be the best 4A playoff matchup in the state next week. PNG also has a history of crowds getting larger and larger the deeper they get into the playoffs. Maybe this is why some folks are trippin about having to play at a 10000 seat stadium for a playoff game.
Gotcha!  ;)
its all good soldier they'll make due. My buddy just told me Aldine ISD said to sell as many tix as needed. They're going to open up the hill section of the stadium allowing many more folks to pile in. So saying that PNG folks wanting actual seats need to get there early. ;)

The 5a state championship games will be played there.
Im no expert on playoff locations but Im sure it all depends on the Texans home schedule and the surface being natural grass. Im sure they wouldnt allow games on Friday and Saturday during the playoffs if the Texans are playing at home on Sunday. I REALLY miss the Astrodome this time of year. The days of watching double and triple headers in climate controlled conditions are over and its sad. Just my 2 cents.

 9.
No playoff games at Indian Stadium because of construction but parking is not the problem ... there is no access for 2 teams to use for a dressing area!
visitors locker room and freshman/JV locker room.
 10.

Does anyone know if any playoff games have been scheduled at the Rez?
It's my understanding that there will be no playoff games at the Rez this year due to construction. Also Humble ISD Stadium will not host any playoff games this year due to construction.
my wife works for the district and was told the same thing. She made it sound like it do with the lack of parking due to the construction going on.  I understand but dont totally agree. If Indian Stadium can host PNG games, especially MCM, they could find enough parking for a playoff game not involving PNG IMO. We need help paying for that thing so I would have taken some games if they asked. ;)
 11.
Possibly #5???
It depends on how far Denton Guyer falls. They probably wont fall that far IMO. PNG could be as high as #5 but Id guess #6. There were 4 teams not 3 that lost tonight. I left off Midway who also lost.
 12. including Angleton and Brenham. The other was Denton Guyer last night. The Indians have a shot at moving up a few spots this week.
 13. id love to know how many of the other undefeated 4A schools in Texas had undefeated JV teams as well. That's quite an accomplishment for those boys. Its a good time to be an Indian fan right now.
 14.
1. Central is one heck of a tough team and those boys in the backfield can dance like Mini- Barry Sanders. Impressive Speed. 2. The kid who returned the fumble for Central.  Was that Usain Bolt?  Fastest kid alive IMO. 3.  Central Band was as entertaining as it gets.  It was my first time to see them (been in Air Force last 11 years) and I enjoyed every minute.  And whoever "Big Girl" is..... that was pure greatness. 4.  Fairly decent sportsmanship overall.  5.  Sad to see The Babe go... not a bad stadium if it had a few "upgrades" 6.  PN-G needed a game like this. Tough battle.  7.  To those who left when Central scored the go ahead TD and missed the Dunbar runback... I say to you... "ha ha" 8.  Prayers to the person carted off in Ambulance.  I hope that person is ok. 9.  Outstanding Crowd tonight.  Loud and Proud. 10.  Great effort Central.  Sorry those boys lost it like that on the last game ever in that stadium but PN-G gutted it out in the end.  Way to Go Indians!  11.  To Barbers Hill. Fasten your seat belts.  It's going to be a bumpy ride next week.  Expect Turbulence.  And a loss.  Boom. Roasted. 12... if anyone sees my voice.. I'm going to need that back.
#5 is true except for the bird shat in the stands.
What?  About the DeRon end zone catch?
I truly don't know.  Again I wasn't there. BTW, tell me about the play described above.  I didn't hear about it.
Fade to the end zone. Unless soulja was sitting in the end zone bleachers not sure how he could dispute call. It was very obvious he got one foot in.
Looked like he bobbled it.    While I'm thinking about it, the Personal Foul after the big stop on third and long in the fourth... The QB was knocked down right after he threw the ball.  He waited untill the the QB started getting up and pleading his case.  Thought about it...  Hmmmmm... hmmmm...  Let me throw this flag...   You can't be serious is what I was thinking when this happened...
Deron got 2 feet in and had complete control of the football. The PF call came out late whether it happened or not. Either way, what a game and great finish. Good luck in the playoffs Central.
 16. I dont know who it was but it looked really serious. The rumors we're hearing arent good. I hope that they are just that rumors. Prayers to the family.
 17. quick, good footwork, and had a hell of an arm. If he's only a sophomore with a little work he has a bright future IMO.

They already had one side of of the stands pretty much standing and it looks really nice. I have no doubt itll be an awesome stadium and a popular playoff destination for many local teams. The problem I have is the money being spent on this stadium could have been divided up to upgrade Durley, Zaharias and still probably had enough left over to build a suitable nice on campus stadium for Ozen. I for one am NOT looking forward to a Thursday night showdown with Ozen or Central in the coming seasons. The on campus stadiums work and give the teams a distinct home field advantage. Just think if Beaumont keeps growing and a rumored 4th HS ever opens within the next decade......talk about crap hitting the fan then, double headers being played on Saturdays. Gonna be awesome!!!  If you dont want to an game play on Saturday, then stay at home and take a nap. Stop your whining! you all whines too much.

I whines too much??  I know the new stadium will be awesome. I am a stadium nut and honestly cant wait to see a ballgame in it. Sorry mama its not really a whine its just I just prefer Friday Night Lights, thats all. Plus, Durley and Zaharias could have probably been upgraded to state of the art facilities for what they are spending on the new digs.
 21.
NO
agreee. There've been bigger games.
 22.
Well guess what, it's not your problem.  I'm so glad BISD majority passed the bond because it will benefit all students of Beaumont.  One of the few Majority/Minority districts with first class facilities.  I don't mind my house note going up because at the end of the day, it's for the kids.....
Having to watch my favorite team play Varsity football game on a Thursday night or a Saturday day would be my problem. I'm not dogging the stadium heck I voted for the PNGISD bond to pass. I know it will be a nice facility and i'd be proud of it. My argument was for the amount of money being spent on that complex BISD could have extremely upgraded the two existing stadiums and probably built a suitable on campus stadium for Ozen. Varsity football games are meant to be played on Friday Nights.

I think it is safe to say we know what happened the last two scrimmages. 21-0 after not even two quarters of live game play was not enough to convince some I guess. It is funny to dog on PN-G for WINNING games (lc-m, etc.) while PAM is out losing to a team that has not won a game all year. Priceless.
So i take it you missed the controlled part of the scrimmage when the score was 14-0 MHS? I'm not dogging any one I just said I think 21 5-a is differant from your league, and that the caliber of athlete isn't the same. So you're telling  me you wouldn't take a rb that was disciplined and ran a 4.4  a yes sir no sir type kid over a kid that did the samething he just ran a 4.7 that's all i'm saying it's different.
Exactly, controlled part where 1st and 2nd teams were alternating, unlike the live game where it was one's versus one's. Speed does not make you more productive. It makes you more dangerous. Why does Harmon lead the entire area in rushing with 4.7 speed while playing on maybe the most balanced offense in the area. PAM lost to another 4A school in Central. PS...I pull for PAM all year. My wife is a TJ grad. I hope to see us play in the future.
The only way this will be settled is on the field in a full game. ;)
GOAT- is PAM already locked into a playoff spot in 21-5A or is there still a chance with a loss to Lee they stay home? I read somewhere else that they were in and this weeks game was could only effect their seeding. I thought I saw here that if they lose and Channelview wins, the Titans are out. Which is true?
