1. If you are banking on the broncos being overwhelmed by the moment tonight, you're in trouble. The broncos are used to the big games, we have played in a few more meaningful games than y'all have in the last few years. Y'all should know from experience that we are not intimidated by your big crowds and loud mouths.
 2. In Dayton we never pay attention to this thread, we are usually still playing football when y'all are smacking on that thread. I have nothing this year that make me think it will be any different.
 3. I have eaten some crow this year, so if the stars align and the enjuns pull off a victory, then will gladly eat my crow. I look forward to a great game between 2 fine programs with no injuries. Good luck to both teams. Oh yeah, congrats to vidor and the other teams that have punched their ticket to the 2nd round.

Yall are just down right mean... And childish... ::)
Just how did Winfree's Cove beat Dayton?  Make me understand....
What does how did BH beat Dayton have to do with now? They won fair and square...
Your number 1 team just got beat by our number 4 team. What do you think the number 2 team in 20-4A is gonna do to the number 2 team in 19-4A.  8)
[sub][/sub] Just show up tonight and them Dayton boys will show you. The broncos will do what they have been doing to 20-4a, send home whining with a bunch of excuses.
 5. Well, I was looking forward to siting around the 50 and soaking up an awesome playoff atmosphere, but I have to be in the press box. ;). The day has finally come, Dayton will prove to everyone that they are still kings of 19-4a, and remind 20-4a why they were so glad to see Dayton go. It looks like 19-4a will have to settle for 1 win this year, who better than the mighty broncos to provide it. Good luck to both teams and pray for no injuries.
 6. Hey man, y'all played your butts of, but it just wasnt meant to be. You sound like a respectful young man, good luck to you.
 7.
Just looked at the bracket... I think PNG will see us (Manvel) in round 3... THE REMATCH!!
Don't get your hopes up, unless y'all want to play basketball with them.
 8.
The TRUTH hurts. PNG in a landslide. Dayton isnt the same Dayton as they used to be..must be the new coach...
I love the fact that some of the triangle fans have short memories. The good Dayton teams flat out dominated you guys, so a so called weak Dayton team is only going to beat by 10. The cold hard fact is, even in a down year with a new coach, no 4a team from the triangle can hold the Broncos jock strap.
 9. Some of these BH posters crack me up. Y'all think if you win district once, you're somehow the greatest of all time. I feel like y'all are probably a better team than Crosby, just like I feel like Dayton is a better team than BH, it happens. Sometimes teams don't play at the top of their game, but to say Dayton won't win another district title for the next 3 years is crazy, the plant pollution is getting to your brain. Dayton is in a transition year, lots of folks in new positions, but the foundation of this program is still the same. You never know what could happen in the next 3 years, heck the Crosby twins could be in Dayton next year or the BH qb for that matter, who knows? If I was a betting man, I would bet Dayton wins another district title before BH does.

Little known fact:  We lost to Cameron Yoe that year in the playoffs and they went on to win state.  They ran a trick halfback pass the first play of the game that went for a touchdown. We led stats in every category that game, but could not recover from that score. The recipient of that pass is now the current BH Superintendant, Dr. Greg Poole!
Great fun fact! I will ask Greg about it tonight at the game.
Tell him I reviewed the game tape and certain he lined up off-sides on the play.  I plan to send the tape to the UIL to consider issueing Yoe a forfeit!  JK...he is a great guy and happy to have him at The Hill regardless of his past transgressions!
[sub] Video evidence means nothing to the uil, if it did, BH wouldn't be flying so high right now. Lol [/sub]
 11. Man these refs really want Crosby to win, this is unreal. If they weren't getting paid, it would be funny.
 12. Man, if Dayton wins this game, it will be a miracle. They are playing crosby's football and their refs. This is pathetic. Now I remember why I dislike Crosby so much.
 13. This crew has to be the worst crew I've seen in a while. I know, I know, don't complain about the refs, but man, when they stink this bad I can't help it.
 14. Man, it's crazy how one district loss for Dayton makes everybody else so confident. Dayton was in a position to win every game this year, including the BH game, and should have one that one. They will find a way to win, winning consistently is what Dayton does. Games this year will be a little closer because we haven't quite worked out all the kinks of a new coach and coordinators, but they still know how to win. I hope everyone enjoys this season while the Broncos adjust to the new coaches, cause if redistricting don't save y'all , the mighty Broncos will dominate y'all for another 10 years. Broncos by 10.
 15.
No leadership on the field tonight from anyone, Delasbour tried to play, but I saw him limp off the field and not return, doesn't look like he will be much of a factor anytime soon. Defense was getting shredded. If they play GCM and Crosby like they played tonight they will be the 4th place team.
You're right, there is a lack team leadership. Somebody has to step up and be that guy. We really miss #12 Dillingham on defense right now, not sure how long he will be out, but I hope he comes back soon. He was injured in the Angelton game and has not played since. He would bring some pop back to the defense. As for #1, I don't see him being a factor for a while. I hate to say that because he is such a great athlete and a great kid. The coaching changes were not only the head coach, the offensive and defensive coordinators are also new to their respective positions as well. Hancock was a heck of a defensive coordinator, and I'm sure is very hard to replace as well. I believe once everyone is settled in thief new roles, the Broncos will be dominate again, until then we will see a lot of close games.
 16. That was another ugly Dayton win. Sometimes I wonder if the opposing sprays down with oil before the game, the missed tackles are inexcusable. Lots of missed opportunities with dropped passes and open receivers not seen. I may catch a little flack for saying this, but I can really see a change in discipline, execution, decision making, and demeanor in general of this team. Maybe the coaching change had a little more effect on this team than we thought. I'm not saying Hancock is a bad coach, I'm just saying he is probably not quite the motivater that Big Stu is. What ever it is, they better get a grip on it cause GCM is waiting to be the next team to take down the mighty purple and white.

That one kid when he is healthy can change our whole team and what we can do offensively. I look for our defense to keep improving I say that because I saw alot of new faces on the sidelines and if we can get some of those young kids to really contribute who knows what can happen. Dayton 45 lee 7
Jakari was our nemesis 7th grade to 11th grade. I was really sorry he wasn't able to play against us this year. He was a stud before the injury. I wanted BH to beat Day at their best. Something was lacking without Jakari in the lineup. I am hoping he can make a return to the lineup. Good luck to him and his family.
[sub][/sub] Dude, I don't know how to give karma, but if I did I would give you some.
Is that next year's prediction? So much for pacing yourselves.  :) Heck we might as well banter back and forth, it seems like only the PURPLE Ponies care enough about little ole' BH to talk a little smack.
I believe 45-14 is the Dayton/Baytown prediction ( remember what thread this is ) ;)
[sub][/sub] You would be correct my friend.
 19.

Yeah the score was 36 to 0 before dayton took the foot of the gas but look at is this way we have about 16 starters coming back on our varsity so that doesnt look to good for bh either considering they won by 7pts. Bh knows all their good players will be gone which includes 3 of their lbs both running backs
Dayon loses thier 4 year starting QB while we have ours for 2 more years ;D Don't worry about us we will be mopping the floor with Dayton for the next couple of years! You better pray you get in another district 8)
[sub][/sub] Dude, 7 points is hardly mopping the floor. Y'all won, and we all congratulated y'all, but mopping the floor is definitely exaggerated. I give credit where credit is due , heck after the p.a announcer said that that BH players brother was home from war, I started cheering for BH. I won't lie, that gave me a lump in my throat. The stars aligned and it was bh's night. I don't expect all this to happen for the next two years.
That all sounds well and good, I mean showing support, but ya'll know as well as I do that for the last 10 yrs. or so, attendance starts off slow, then come playoff time, every redneck with a purple shirt within a hundred miles will be there. :o We can start showing our support this coming week with the tailgate party next Friday. I believe it starts at 4 pm. Homecoming! Hey maybe we should turn this into a meet-and-greet for the Dayton (SETX) posters. Octfeb you're a big media star, take it and run with it! Guess we need like nametags huh?
Ok Hawkeye you in charge being you suggested it...
I nominated you because of your connections. ;D But if I'm in charge.............HEY...everybody show up and support the Broncos!!!!!! 4 pm Friday.
Ok fine LOL... yall wanna meet then come to the Band Boosters table and meet there at say 5:30? And while your there you can buy a raffle ticket. That good for yall?
Good for me! See ya'll there! Buy the way, what are we raffling? Oh nevermind....it's all about the kids! I'll take two!
Yall could sell Tyrone's horse.  ;D
It wouldn't sell cause it has been tainted by it's previous owner. Just ask around Dayton. No one wants a horse that has been owned by someone from BH. :o
If that's the case, how will you field a team this Friday?  As it sets right now, we own at least 22 Broncos....... ;D ;D  You just knew I could not pass that up...... :D
enjoy it... cause it's not gonna happen again.. Just ask Crosby. ;)
We aint Crosby ask your JV ;D ;D
[sub][/sub] We know, Crosby blew us out 28-0. Y'all squeaked out a win in the final seconds.
 21. Baytown Lee picks up 2nd straight win after BH forfeits game. BH coach said that the team's lifelong goal had been achieved the week before when they beat perennial powerhouse, the Dayton Broncos. With such a huge victory, the Eagles have nothing left to play for.
 22. Lee by 21!!!! ;) Just kidding, BH will win, I'm not going to say win big because there could be a little loss of focus after a huge win.
 23.
At first I thought it was our strength of schedule that caused us to give up so many points but bh is no real offensive beast and they killed our defense just like everybody else. Unless we learn how to tackle dont count out anybody.
They may not be real flashy, but I would disagree that they are no beast. They ran that offense to perfection Friday night. Their blocking was superb. I agree our defense need to tightin up, but I believe BH will give most teams trouble with their near perfect exicution of their offense. Dayton will rebound this Friday and win big.
 24.
I have to go with the entir BH defense.  I don't think anyone from Dayton would disagree either.  They played team defense.
I totally agree.
